That's a funky effect. However, I'm assuming pretty much all of the "stars" are just hot pixels?

Looks like altocumulus castellanus. Often a sign of some disturbed weather on the way. I usually associate them with summer thunderstorms after a hot day.

Crossing contrails are ten a penny but this is the first time I recall seeing two distrails making a classic X.

It was even clearer when I first spotted it but had spread out a bit by the time I could get into position for a photo.

That must confuse the Heck outta our friends over in the chemtrail community. Perhaps some secretive group of good guys flew a couple of planes through there with a big vacuum cleaner aboard rather than spraying equipment, and sucked up some of the Evile Chemicals (tm)?

A good day for clouds here with lots of towering convection mingled with clear blue skies and altocumulus.

This plane perfectly crossed the sun from my vantage point and was silhouetted against some iridescence.

Edit: I should add that I couldn't even see the iridescence with the naked eye. This is an unedited phone photo (apart from being cropped), I was just seeing if I could get a good silhouette but the sun was so bright I was basically shooting blind. An earlier one in the sequence had even more lens flare madness going on… this is unedited again.

The cute dog's jump at seeing the UFO is an example of animal reactions.. <edit> JMartJr beat me to it. We can at least agree that (the) dogs are wonderful.

Took a few pics of these cool clouds the other day, and just noticed that there is dark area on one of the pics that isn't there in the next. Have at it!

Funny, as I posted the last pic, I thought the area kind of looked heart-shaped. Just then on YouTube, George Knapp on Mystery Wire: "UFO Disclosure: Where do we go from here" just aired, and he said "The dark heart of the UFO coverup". This is my life.

I do remember seeing an odd darker area when I took the pic, actually. I just didn't see it well until I looked at the photo. It'll make a fun avatar for a while.

Different filters, exposures. Looks like helmet with warmer light inside. Triangular masking area seems to mask right side of anomaly.

Took a few pics of these cool clouds the other day, and just noticed that there is dark area on one of the pics that isn't there in the next.

I wondered if it might be dirt on the sensor. I get it in some photos on my phone but not others, depending on zoom level and focus. But it's somewhat repeatable, so if you don't see it in any other pics, it probably isn't.
