That's a funky effect. However, I'm assuming pretty much all of the "stars" are just hot pixels?

View attachment 89297I took this yesterday with my phone. A short window of great lighting before sunset.

Looks like altocumulus castellanus. Often a sign of some disturbed weather on the way. I usually associate them with summer thunderstorms after a hot day.
