This is very cool, giving real-time (and the last 12 hours) video of planes taking off and landing at LAS. It's especially useful to me right now as it shows how aircraft lights look from various orientations. The ADS-B inset shows exactly what type of plane it is.

The camera is currently at about 36.071200, -115.148946

I just spent nearly 30 minutes watching planes taxiing and taking off. Well worth it.

I'm amazed by the tech that makes the target selection and camera tracking completely automatic. Fascinating stuff. Thanks, Mick!

I was thinking of putting it on out in the shop, just for fun background stuff. Is it only for Las Vegas? Something like Heathrow or SFO would be fun with some of the occasional big boys taking off.

In passing, if you are into planes and stuff, and have not yet gone anywhere on an A 380, keep your eye out for an opportunity! It's an experience!
