I have noticed a few recent exchanges where the Quote feature is used to point to, for example, a post where Content From An External Source was shared, the result is something like:
----------------------------------
Member said:
Something or other that the Member did not say, but posted -- possibly even posted for purposes of refuting it.
Content from External Source
-------------------------------------
If one pays attention, it is clear that this is not what Member actually themselves said. But somebody skimming, or new to the forum, might be misled.
Confusion might be avoided if the quote feature created a tag that said "Member posted" as opposed to "Member said."
Offered as feedback, address or not as seems warranted!
