Well, If I had an offer of the same amount of money from LYING, hatemongering Glenn Beck, and Al Jazeera, I think I would prefer Al Jazeera also. Much of their science reporting stinks, but they do have a political viewpoint that is not already all over US airwaves. Glenn Beck is so far to the right that even Fox News had to dump him.

I see nothing out there that says that Glenn Beck had the 500 million dollars it sold for. Also, Al Gore did not own it, he only owned 20 % of it---If the other owners had preferred to sell to Beck or aliens from Vulcan, Gore wouldn't have been able to stop them.

That is the problem, when folks research things, they learn the facts.

Other suitors who didn't share Current's ideology were rebuffed. Lets say that Catholic church decides to sell a small hospital, and say Planned Parenthood has the funding they approach them to buy it. Do you feel that they should have to sell it to them?

Maybe because Al J was the highest bidder?

On the other hand, Al J wouldn't have had to be the highest bidder to have their offer accepted. There are two parts to any offer: Price and Terms. If someone offered you 500,000 for your house and was putting down 3% and applying for a mortgage, another offer of 480,000 all cash, close next week would be the better offer, the one you SHOULD accept. All Gore did was sell to the bird in his hand rather than the two in the bush.

Besides, if they're Al Gore's buddies, wouldn't he have GIVEN it to them for $1, or far below fair market value? Or why not just give them a show, or allow them to influence the programming for money? Why are they his buddies? Cause he's a leftie? You can't just throw an accusation out there. Back it up for a change.

I find it interesting that the Mikkelsons aren't to be taken seriously because they have "zero background", what kind of background do most CTers have? Chemtrail believers whom the closest they've come to aviation is flying as a passenger on a plane? Their closest contact with forensics is watching CSI?

I don't see them saying that they 'own' all the major media. I hear them admitting that they did pay SOME folks to post stories for them. That is a LONG way from OWNING or controlling the media.

Not only that, that was from 1975, Much of today's media didn't even exist then.

One has to love a good CTist. Instead of rational arguments one gets half formed points with no evidence and the explanation that it is obvious. If it was so obvious we would not need evidence and the evidence should be easy to find. Reminds me of grading freshman papers.

If a major company donates money to an University, then EVERY piece of research that university does is 'clouded' by that. At the same time if an activist group pays for a study, then that study is infallible. HUH? To be honest one needs to apply the same conditions to each side. Try saying that and you are immediately branded a corporate shill.

I think so far I have been accused of being a shill for BP, big oil, Haliburton, big Pharma, the Jewish controlled news media and for the government.
