Lights moving around Venus in Queensland, Australia

An Australian facebook group called Central Queensland Astronomers & Skywatchers has reported seeing lights moving around Venus after sunset recently. There is a lot of confusion and debate about what they could be. The following video attempts to explain them in detail, using a CuriousPilot replay/simulation of the nighttime sky over Queensland on August 6, 2026.
