Invisible spoilers

Currently, spoilers are implemented using JS, which hasn't been necessary since the earliest days of CSS, but that's not what this is specifically about, which is the annoyance that when JS is disabled, the button that tells you that there is a spoiler to expand is styled display: none along with everything else in the spoiler. Which means I don't even know there's additional content, and that I should temporarily enable javascript to view it. It looks like two lines of CSS cause this misfeature:

and with those two lines removed:
