compressions don't explain everything mick west, it's hard to believe that the siding reacted like this but not the people who are in line with the "mistake"

i'm not a video compression master, but i can tell you that all the shots of the families were in the exact same location with no other footage of around the firehouse

Because the media was restricted to the other side of the street, so they would not get in the way.

i believe the siding compression, but as far as i can see, the woman puts her leg through a planter, what do you see?

Same thing as with Anderson Cooper's nose.

Or this guy's nose.

Things vanish or overlap on block boundaries in compression. Motion compression means moving objects seem to overlap in odd ways. In this case the nose goes "behind" the background. In your example the planter goes "behind" the leg.

i don't know how that much of the planter wouldn't be showing because of "compressions" but if you believe it, go right ahead mick

Look into it them. Don't just stop at "I don't know".

Compression works on blocks of 8x8 pixels. But to see where those block are you need to get the original in-camera footage.

The raw frames in question show little, if any, overlap, hence it's likely the artifacts seen arose via subsequent re-compression of lower quality versions downloaded from YouTube.

not trying to be dumb, but i didn't hear or see one ambulance in that video, i saw almost ten elementary kids out of the whole school that was escorted to the firehouse, and i saw all cops, no medical personel

did and posted it myself already, just not as big of a picture, idk why you had to repost it, but anyways i already said i believed you on the siding, because i've seen it happen before

You are posting a frame from a very low quality copy of the video (high compression, low resolution), where the compression makes it look like the leg is in front of the planter.

The frames from the original raw video show that the leg goes behind the planter.

Do you wish to dispute this?

(sorry I accidentally deleted the photo you just posted, as I thought there was a duplicate post. You can repost it if you like)

no thanks i'll just leave this forum if all your gonna say is compression, have fun on your high horse

Well, I encourage you to look into it yourself, and validate or disprove anything I said.

And consider if people are making videos like the knee/planter thing using low resolution video when the original video is available, then you really have to consider how much credence you can give them.

Don't don't take the opposing view by default. Think for yourself.

my view is that a leg goes through a planter, i can see, i don't need to think and speculate how a video "messed up"

i took that from a 1080p video, sorry it's low quality lol

Converting a low quality video to 1080p does not make it 1080p quality.

The images I posted are from the original video. You can't get better quality than the original. This frame is from the original video:

And it shows that she goes behind the planter.

If you continue to disagree, then I can only assume you are trolling.
