That's Virga in the second photo. Precipitation that evaporates before it reaches the ground

The first cloud picture looks like a fallstreak hole / hole punch cloud. Perhaps the falling cold air caused the spiral of ascending moist air to appear, which has been displaced as the cloud cover is moving.

Wow, they look very angular. You could see how with the right lighting, dark clouds etc, someone could think of it as a solid triangular shape.

Not the neat near-perfect circle, but the only fallstreak hole I've ever seen. So y'all get to see it.

Not from the description I find. K-H should be smooth waves. But I'm not an expert in clouds, so don't take my word for anything! Whatever they are it's a terrific photo.
