Im not buying it . It a diversion , Gun Control ? Obama ? anyone knows they dont open their own mail ? Trying to cover-up all those scandals .

You got that wrong, Joe. After failing a polygraph, the Texas woman has admitted she framed her husband by sending the Ricin letters.

The Washington state Grand Jury indictment against Matthew Ryan Buquet remains sealed, but I think it will be very interesting when the story comes out. Something significant must have been presented to those citizens to have them issue such a charge.

I heard that already . We will see if the charges stick .

So... huh? There's a third and fourth party now? The Texas woman and Buquet are not related to the Dutschke case?

What's that post for Jay?

Just archiving some links to Buquet aliases and references. Most of it looks like he established various social media accounts with no further activity. The indictment might be unsealed after the middle of July and we may get some clues about his motivation.

This one is curious:

The date is 40 years ago, but he is 38 years old. Where is Harakati city?
Harakati is a Swahili word for 'movement', 'movements', or 'activism'.

Buqet was previously chaged with one count. Yesterday he plead not guilty to three more counts. The Grand Jury indictment remains sealed.

SPOKANE — A Spokane man charged with mailing a poison-laced letter to President Obama pleaded not guilty to three charges Wednesday in federal court.

Matthew Buquet, 37, entered not-guilty pleas during an appearance before U.S. Magistrate Cynthia Imbrogno.

He is charged with producing and transferring a biological toxin called ricin; mailing a threatening communication to the president of the United States; and mailing a threatening communication to a federal judge. He faces up to life in prison if convicted.

The FBI has said Buquet mailed five ricin-laced letters to various federal entities. He was arrested last month. All the letters have been recovered and there were no reports of injuries.

No motive has been offered for the mailings, and the federal government has sealed most of the court documents in the case.

Little is known about Buquet, who has made no statements in court other than “yes” or “no” answers to questions from the magistrate. He appeared in court Wednesday with a long black beard, dark-tinted glasses and wearing shackles.

Some 'chatter' today about a ricin suspect being a Silk Road vendor. Could be referring to Buquet, whose case is still mostly sealed, possible reason?

"U.S. Department of Homeland Security; Current Secret Service Investigations and Seizures: Baltimore Field Office

The U.S. Secret Service (USSS) has partnered with Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), Drug Enforcement Agency, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on an investigation into the Silk Road, a black market criminal marketplace located on The Onion Router network. Silk Road acts as a criminal eBay, allowing the purchase of counterfeit and genuine identification, counterfeit currency, narcotics, weapons, biological agents, and criminal services. The sole currency accepted and transacted on Silk Road is Bitcoins. The site has an annual revenue stream of over $250 million and a user base in excess of 300,000. The purpose of this investigation has been to focus on the identification of the site's main administrator, referred to as Dread Pirate Roberts (DPR).

Of recent noteworthy interest was the determination that the suspect who had sent Ricin to President Obama earlier this year was a vendor on the Silk Road site. A critical component in this investigation has been the ongoing undercover operation between an undercover agent (agency undisclosed per AUSA) and the site administrator, which has resulted in the site administrator soliciting the agent to commit a murder for hire, for which the government received a total payment of $80,000.

On May 1, 2013, an arrest warrant was issued pursuant to a sealed indictment in U.S. District Court of Maryland, charging DPR with violations of Title 21 USC 846 (Conspiracy to Distribute a Controlled Substance), Title 18 USC 1512(a)(1)(c) (Attempted Witness Murder), Title 18 USC 1958(a) (Use of Interstate Commerce Facilities in Commission of Murder-for-Hire), and Title 18 USC 2 (Aiding and Abetting). The investigation has utilized numerous buy-thru operations for weapons, identification, narcotics, and explosives to identify high value targets on the site. The USSS is responsible for the forensics and cyber analysis in this ongoing criminal investigation and, along with our interagency partners, will attempt to identify the site's origin and the identity of the site administrator. As a result of this ongoing investigation, approximately $5.5 million has been seized by the USSS and ICE-HSI.

Yet another indictment for James Everett Dutschke, this time alleging that he has continued plotting while in jail to have someone else send ricin to frame Curtis.
This may have been the source of the Secret Service "Silk Road" comments, though I find it hard to understand how Dutschke could have had internet access like that while in jail....

OXFORD, Miss. (WTVA) -- The man accused of attempting to mail ricin-laced letters to President Barack Obama is now accused of trying to have the biological weapon made while he was behind bars.

A federal grand jury has added a sixth-count in the charges against James Everett Dutschke, 42, of Tupelo.

The new indictment says in June, Dutschke attempted to have other people acquire the ingredients, tools and implements to produce ricin and then put it into an envelope and mailed to U. S. Senator Roger Wicker of Mississippi.

The indictment says the envelope was to contain a note that would make it appear the note was sent by Kevin Curtis.

According to court documents the note reads: It doesn't matter the Fife types have the wrong one. D. had to be sacrificed to show the corruption in the system. I tried to warn you. Ha. K

Dutschke was arrested in April and has been held without bond on charges of producing and stockpiling a biological weapon, threatening the president, mailing threatening communications and concealing the fact he sent the letters.

The original charges came from letters mailed in April to the President Obama, Sen. Wicker and Lee County Circuit Court Judge Sadie Holland.

Mississippi Man Pleads Guilty to Sending President Ricin-Tainted Letters
January 17, 2014

A Mississippi man has pleaded guilty to sending poison-laced letters to President Barack Obama and other officials.

James Everett Dutschke entered the plea Friday during a hearing in U.S. District Court in Oxford, Miss.

The 42-year-old previously pleaded not guilty and denied sending the letters. He also denied a later charge that, while incarcerated, he tried to recruit someone else to send a ricin-tainted letter.

Jury finds 2 Georgia men guilty in ricin plot
Federal prosecutors say men conspired to use toxin as weapon

During his closing argument Friday, prosecutor Bill McKinnon set evidence on a table in front of the jury that included an identical ricin recipe found at both defendants' homes; shelled castor beans, the main ingredient in ricin, found at both homes; acetone, an ingredient in ricin production, found at Adams' home; and rubber gloves to protect hands from the toxin found at Crump's home.

McKinnon then reminded the jury of secretly taped conversations from 2011 between a group of men that sometimes included Adams and Crump in which the men could be heard discussing their hatred of the federal government, the possibility of using ricin against government targets, their willingness to kill and steps they would need to take make the poison.

Defense attorneys had argued that their clients were talking big about their frustrations with the federal government but that they never had the intention or means to carry out an attack.
