A parent of one of the young boys requested his face be blurred out of all the collage photos. No one had time to do so when the request was made, since the collage was reposted in multiple comments (since the thread was about the collage).

Since Snopes had already reposted most of the debunk data anyway, the thread was just removed in order to quickly respect the parent's wishes.
