Florida State Government now captured by chemtrail believers

I spent some time speaking to the bill sponsor Kevin Steele. He claimed that Congress had appropriated billions but when I asked him several times the budget item he wouldn't give anything specific.

Your dedication and effort to educate legislators on this cause is very admirable!

He also claimed that Bill Gates wanted to reduce world population.

Ah a crossover between chemtrails and another classic conspiracy, population reduction, with blaming Bill Gates as the cherry on top.

Well, that's actually legit, Gates and quite a few other people think it's better for the planet if there were fewer people on it. Being educated, they know that improving living conditions and social security drop the birth rate (as evidenced by industrialized countries), while the conspiracy theorists apparently ask themselves, "what would we do to reduce the population", and then project that.

True and good context! Exactly like you said, Gates and others support efforts like education, birth control initiatives, improved access to healthcare, and higher incomes for poor countries. I.e., reduction in population through voluntary choices. But the conspiracy theorists take that message to mean he's actively trying to murder people.

If there were, in fact, a massive worldwide conspiracy to reduce population. it would have to be one of the least effective conspiracies imaginable...

Don't think I'd waste too much time worrying about them.

Florida Surgeon General seems to have bought into the "aluminum oxide" gambit of chemtrails. He says that State resources at Dept of Health and Environment are looking into it. If they don't come out publicly, as a Florida resident I will file a FOIA and get to the bottom of this. The public needs to know who, what, when, where it got started, who knew it was bogus and when they knew it.
