Aircraft recorded over Area 51

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this post, but it's a pretty cool story. Project Fear, a group hunting for the paranormal and UFOs, actually managed to record footage of a completely unknown US fighter jet over Area 51. It is currently unknown if it's related to the upcoming F-47, F/A-XX program, or something else. Credit to Project Fear for actually having a rigorous setup - multiple cameras (visual spectrum, multiple types of thermal) from different vantage points. The consensus in the aviation world is that the footage is legitimate, as far as I can tell.

Sandboxx News has a few videos on it. The first two are 5 to 6 minutes long, and the last is 30 minutes.

These YouTubers have so far contributed more interesting results than Avi Loeb and co! Kudos to them on the fantastic work!

The filmed craft bears some resemblance to the McDonnell Douglas X-36 and the Boeing Bird of Prey.

Both of those are actually on display at the National Museum of the United States Air Force!

Okay, it's a testing range. I'm sure they're testing stuff there. I'm not sure what the "paranormal investigators" are doing there, though. And getting a few shots of a UAV or fighter jet that isn't immediately recognizable seems like a booby prize for someone who's out looking for reverse-engineered UFOs.

Isn't this espionage? I don't like it.
No, they were on public land, and security knew they were there. They flew the jet in their sight knowing they were there. The military either didn't care or wanted footage of it to get out. Likely to get potential adversary nations concerned.

They were hoping for UFOs or wacky tech, but instead they made aviation fans happy :D.

Also I should mention the shape is what has aviation nerds especially interested! Since the F-47 and F/A-XX programs are underway, these sightings could be a glimpse at those 6th gen fighters!

Might not seem like such a scoop soon

Might just be a B21 though

Still excited but that's definitely something different, as that plane has the "flying wing" aka "flying Dorito" shape. But! It could still be something new. See this video I posted earlier, starting at 10:30. A flying Dorito was filmed about 6 months ago, at the same time as a B-2, and its shape doesn't match up with the B-21 or anything else we know of.

A similar shape was photographed all the way back in 2014:

Thanks for sharing the tweet. I hadn't seen that. Aviation nerds get hype! If I had to guess, that teaser might be the official reveal of the RQ-180, stealth unmanned drone.

UFO lobby argues that hunting for UFOs should be a national security priority

And these people do the exact opposite, by possibility helping to compromise national security by possibly filming classified aircraft, near a military base.

Same lobby who chase government funds to study UFOs so the state is not "left behind" also appear to believe the same government is actively studying them and building their own alien tech aircraft.

The cognitive dissonance continues.

the rumour is that something never seen before will be a part of the flyover, B2's have been a part of flyovers before
Origin of the rumor? The phrase "never seen before" sounds very Trump-like, but if that's the source it might be best not to put too much confidence in it. But ...he does tend to blurt out statements without bothering to check if the information is classified...
