Morelia, Michoacán, June 30, 2026.- The sky of Paracho will again become a canvas of color, creativity and tradition with the celebration of the Cantoya Festival, Fiesta and Color 2026, which will be held from July 17 to 19 in the Bicentennial Sports Unit. This was reported by the Ministry of Tourism of Michoacán (Sectur), headed by Roberto Monroy García.
This meeting is one of the most emblematic of the entity and will bring together globe artisans, families and domestic and foreign tourists. In this regard, the municipal president, Salvador Martínez Gutierrez, highlighted the impact of this event for the region: "We expect 70 thousand visitors and an economic spill close to 8 million pesos."
In this edition, the festival will have the participation of delegations from Brazil and Colombia as invited countries, who will enrich the Michoacan sky with the elevation of their spectacular creations. In addition, during the three days of the event 180 monumental balloons will rise and there will be a wide exhibition of different formats, as explained by the head of the Tourism Headquarters of this Magical Town, Julio Sinuhé Olguín Morales.
