The team investigating last year's crash of Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 in eastern Ukraine has prepared a draft final report and given it to countries involved in the probe for their comments.

The Dutch Safety Board announced Wednesday it made the draft report available on June 2 to representatives of Malaysia, Ukraine, the United States, Russia, the United Kingdom, Australia and the Netherlands. It did not publicize details of the confidential draft.

This is normal practice for air accident investigation, to give any affected parties a chance to comment on the findings before they are made public. They have 60 days to comment, and the final report is expected in October

Usually the parties do not leak much info, but this case is such a bombshell (sorry!) that there may well be leaks that suit the various parties - and yes I'm looking at you Russia and Ukraine!!
