Debunked: Fake City / "US Army Trains for Martial Law In US."

How does it need to be unmarked? They're training to detain targets in an urban environment. They are training on US soil, and they are using US citizens in the training, because you don't train for detaining targets in a foreign city by detaining actual hostiles in a foreign city. You train under circumstances that are entirely within your control, with fake targets who are in on it and effectively playing a role.

That exact same training, however, is applicable to detaining a hostile in Baghdad, catching a North Korean agent on a base in Okinawa, securing a diplomat in a threatened consulate in North Africa, or taking down a high value target in a secret operation in a Pakistani border town.

To be fair, yes, it would also be applicable to detaining US citizens in a US city. However, the above is just a few of a very, very long list of ways the US military has actually detained a person in a city, for which this is accurate and useful training.

So what would you suggest, they use Islamic, N. Korean, or the Russian Language instead. Imagine the news then, "Americans are training to take control of N. Korea or Russia". It would cause panic. So they used American street signs because they are in America. It's that simple.
I'm saying you are right about the street signs being insufficient to prove that the fake city in the OP is in fact an American city.

And I'm also saying that I am right about the US Army and the forcible detainment and internment of American women in this video, and the subsequent hand-over of the American prisoners to American police.

My only point is that this thread was marked "debunked" based on prior evidence which no longer supports that conclusion. In fact it specifically refutes it. The "debunked" tag needs to be removed.

Mick, why are you going in circles? There are four pages of very specific definitions of Martial law here. There is also some discussion of Posse Comitatus, etc. which was quite interesting. If you read them and refresh your memory on the definition of martial law, it is very hard to see this training video as anything else. Or are you arguing that this video does not feature the US Army, the Perry Police, and some American Citizens being focibly detained by the Army and then held behind razor wire?

Please let ME ask you a question:

Do you REALLY think that members of the United States Armed Forces would "not" question orders that suggested they FIRE on their fellow citizens??

Really?

EDIT: There is a chain of command in the military hierarchy. THINK about that!!!!

This is off topic. The OP was on whether the US Army was training for martial law in US, not about whether that training was useful.

The army trains for operations in other countries. There's no indication it's not that. What are they supposed to do, import Iraqi women to fake arrest?

The topic was if the city in the OP was being used to train for martial law in the US. It was not.

but from 2:04 to 2:27 it shows US Army detaining some very obviously American woman behind razor wire before handing them over to some obviously American police.

Having looked at the full context of the video, it's seem clear this is National Guard members in a disaster relief training program.
