David Icke - The People's Voice

Icke's latest project is 'a free global internet TV & Radio station broadcasting the information, background and opinions the mainstream media won't touch' - The People's Choice.

Fund is being raised through Indiegogo and it looks certain to smash the $100,000 target.

The People's Voice

In principle, I'm all for this, however, we all know what Icke's output is like.

Will this turn more people on to CTs and bunk? Or is it just going to cater to his existing market?

Wowsers.

I remember the good old days of business when the profit would be shared out amongst the investors.

Now it seems you can fob 'em off with a poster and keep all that profit for yourself.

If it turns out to be anything like the 'alternative' Edge Media channel in the UK, it will scrape the barrel and go bust:

Thanks for that. I just went to Channel 200 on Sky and it was a blank screen. I was tempted to ring them up and ask to upgrade to the Conspiracy Theory Package, which comes with a free aluminium foil hat, but opted for porn instead.

I think this David Icke channel stands a good chance of taking off. His Youtube stuff gets plenty of hits and he does have a hardcore following. People really are taken in by him, there is a video floating around with him and Margi Clarke, scouser actress, talking some bollocks. Mind you she has been seen at chemtrail demos.

Heard about this the other day, whilst I'm all for free speech and what not, it's a pretty scary thought giving a TV channel to a man who believes (or at least sells these beliefs) there are people living inside the moon projecting our 'reality' on to us.

Conspiracy theories and bunk are only getting more popular, and I think that's going to continue for the foreseeable future. Sadly I reckon it might do well

Actually, thinking about it I'm surprised there is not a dedicated conspiracy channel already in the US. The conspiracy shows on the "History" and "Discovery" channel are quite popular, and there's lots of dedicated religious channels, so it seems like it would work out. It would probably have to be a little less extreme than an dedicated Icke channel though.

Although looking at the lineup for Jesse Ventura's show, maybe not

THE CONSPIRACY DEEPENS
This season of Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura is the most electrifying yet, as Jesse Ventura and his team investigate

  • a top secret government sponsored time travel program
  • an operational death ray
  • the remnants of an alien battleground
  • the underground bunkers of an ancient race of half human/half reptiles.

Jesse is joined on the investigative team this season by his son, Tyrel — along with Sean Stone, son of director Oliver Stone — on their quest for the truth.

He's gone full theorist. Quite obviously just following the money now.

I often wonder if people like Icke are genuine or not, I suspect it began (for Icke) with the breakdown and claiming to be jesus, then he realized the exposure that got him and just went with it... to the point where he has actually deluded himself.

I can't believe ANYONE would believe ANY of this.

Except for the death ray maybe. :)

I was curious a while back, and wondered if the producers of the "Conspiracy" series focused on this same type of programming.
No.
It's not bursting anyone's bubble to find out that they too are chasing money. (A. Smith and Co.)

But they seem to have found a lucrative niche from the Jessie format:
Joe Rogan Questions Everything (working title)

Having explored these questions for years on his podcast, Joe now takes his journey to the next level, traveling the country and knocking on any door necessary to find the truth. In his own unique and inquisitive style, Joe will stop at nothing to quench his curiosity for the unknown. Production company: A. Smith & Co. Executive producers: Arthur Smith, Joe Rogan, Kent Weed, Frank Sinton, Michael Braverman, Tod Mesirow, Barry Bloom, Jeff Sussman and Chandra Keyes.

(Joe is known for his repeated saying, "Hey, I'm just a guy asking questions")

I did a couple of interviews for Joe Rogan's Question Everything. From what I can see it does seems like it has a more science based direction, especially about the more esoteric topics like HAARP and Chemtrails. Significantly different to Ventura's Conspiracy Theory. Time will tell, as it's all in the edit, but Joe and the producers did seem very interested in the actual science. Of course they also have to make it entertaining, the result will hopefully be something along the lines of Conspiracy Theory meets Mythbusters.

Starts July 16th

Now that is so funny....LOL!

I think some of the conspiracy theorists actually believe these stuff themselves and others are just getting their jollies off fooling around with people's minds.

I'm sure there are some people either just trolling, or doing it for money, with a variety of levels of conviction in what they are saying.

For practical purposes I tend to just assume they believe what they are saying, unless there's some obvious reason not to.

???

Brainiachick, have you read what D. Icke says , or have you watched his clips? I am surprised by what you say. "conspiracy theorists"??? look around, and tell me that you like what you see... poor you. Who are you working for?

Where does the profit go? to the project!!! David Icke (contrary to many!!!) does not benefit from the money raised... can you see, you poor people, that his aim is to get us all out of this desperate situation? I wish you joy of the future ! stay where you are... and die there.

franmm I would suggest that you read the politeness policy.

David Ick is not sharing FACTS he is sharing fear, nonsense and bad SF.

Sound advice. I do plan to stay where I am. Too risky going out with all those toxic chemtrails. Where I live there is a reptilian member of the Royal Family waiting behind every bush. Its worse than V out there. Even the other day I had to rescue the neighbours puppy from getting eaten by some errent Duke.

What evidence do you have that the profit goes to the "project" and not to Icke? What "desperate situation" do you think I am in?

I agree with you Mick. I once knew one who just enjoyed trolling, stirring the pot and jerking people around to see how far he could go. Then he'd sit back and enjoy the fun at their expense! It's incredible how malleable the human mind could be!

I do sympathize with your panic! I am deeply sorry that you had to resort to this style of communication. There is really no need to be disrespectful, let's just attempt and have an objective look at things - it's way more effective and constructive. I will attempt to answer your questions and I would proffer mine - hopefully you can deal with that.

Yes, I do know David Icke - infact very well, and I know what he says. And I have watched his clips. Poor me? Nah...you got that wrong - I'm far from being poor. Who do I work for? I work for no one - I own my time, my intellects, and my businesses. I hope that answers your questions?

Now I will ask you a few questions:

1. What exactly do you refer to when you say "'conspiracy theorists'??? Look around and tell me that you like what you see...."? If you can be more specific, that would sure help.

2. What evidence has David Icke offered you that has convinced you that his opinions and hypotheses are true and factual? If you have any, I will be more than happy to see it.

3. What evidence from past track record (including but not limited to bank balances, accounts, tax returns, cash flow analyses, expenditure ledgers) do you have that this money you are helping him to raise will be used for the project - and what project is that and who benefits from this project if I may ask? (Pretty much like the warning notices on investment products, please kindly note that past track record may not guarantee future reliability of judicious expenditure).

4. How well do you even know David Icke? Please tell me.

5. Have you any idea the impact these sort of hypotheses have on innocent people who are easily moved and how many families and lives who have subscribed to these line of thinking have suffered as a direct result?

6. Do you not care that people be provided with truth and not fallacies?

Finally, please do not see these as a personal attack on you or anyone else - this is critical thinking and I never accept anything without proof or credible evidence. Provide me with proof and you may sway me.

BiggerDave,

Why do you have to be so darn funny, LOL? ;)!

Did you see the RAF display over Buckingham Palace on Saturday? So were they spraying the crowd with chemtrails to kill them off? The Queen, the Duke of Kent and the Royal family were standing right under it too! The RAF even threw in a bit of patriotic colour (blue, white, red) for good measure! I just don't get it when people don't know where to draw the line between cogent and ridiculous!
