Danny Robins tests three Mediums

Chanced across this while looking for online content related to the BBC radio and TV series Uncanny.

I was thinking of suggesting Uncanny on @tinkertailor's thread Wanted: Silly Paranormal TV Shows/Content. Wasn't sure if episodes would be easily accessible to anyone outside the UK, so had a quick look on YouTube.
Unfortunately, while there are a few shorts- in effect promotional material- whole episodes were hard to find.
(Also, I'm not sure the shows are silly as such and so fail Tink's criterion. BBC Radio 4 / podcast link here, BBC TV series link here).

Did find this; not from Uncanny but it features host Danny Robins and Ciarán O'Keeffe ("Team Sceptic") from the series in an earlier show (Bullsh!t Detectors? - can't find confirmation), posted by YouTube user ThinkSceptically in 2012. Terrible video quality! But still fun, I think.

Three mediums give their accounts of past events... sort of.

Would add, it's more confrontational than Uncanny, which doesn't poke fun at its witnesses and which maintains a good-natured atmosphere between "Team Believer" and "Team Sceptic".

Danny Robins (Presenter): Well, I think all our mediums were really good. Good at doing research, good at telling stories, and good at repeating everything I said. What they weren't so good at, was contacting spirits. And whatever you think about ghost hunting, you cannot get away from the fact, that all our mediums contacted a ghost, that we entirely made up. (with a planted story)
Danny started as a comedian before moving into paranormal subjects, including Haunted podcast, The Battersea Poltergeist horror podcast, and lately the Uncanny franchise, books, merch, and even a stage play!

Proof that you don't need to be a grifter to earn a living from the paranormal.
