Body bags leaving the White House?

Sorry my bad English. I am working on some Tik Tok and Twitter clips showing alleged body bags being taken out of the White House on June 23, 2022.

The clip was made by filming a screen. From the style with which the date is reported I was able to discover that it is the footage of a WebCam publicly available online on the EarthTv Web Site.

I was unable to trace the original clip, but the real problem is that as an Italian who sees these things externally, I don't understand what those alleged body bags can be.

Whatever they are, the sizes are interesting. If we assume the first pusher is about 1.8m tall the first 'bag' is around 2.4m long while the second is around 1.5m.

I do not believe it is an effort to sneak bodies out of the White House. There would be no need to roll them down the sidewalks in front of the building in broad daylight in front of known webcams, tourists, etc., they could be disposed of secretly in all sorts of ways. But there is little reason to think these are body bags ... one possibility would be load-out of keyboards or other instruments after an event at the White House with a hired band -- something along these lines:

Another possibility would be some sort of buffet table like this:

Put a cover on either of those and you are close to what is shown in the video.

It is slighty possible that something like this is going on:

This incident is from 2022, but the use of "body-bags" in protests is not unusual. Taking them inside the White House would be odd...

There are two events listed for that day at the White House:

https://www.whitehouse.gov/ostp/events-webinars/past-events/

But they both finished at 1.30pm and the timestamp on the video - which is the one broadcast by EarthTV on the original webcam and is set to DC time - was 12.41pm.

Not sure if archive footage is available anywhere but I imagine whoever posted it originally must have been recording and kept a copy for at least some period of time.

(NB - some people on Twitter are saying they saw this video at least a year ago. But I haven't found anything in searches and the timestamp looks genuine. So I think they must be mistaken.)

If these were actual bodies, I'd expect them to be handled by 2 people each, because of the weight and the incline.

The timing (12:41) suggests they may have been part of an event that concluded at noon; if these turn out to be empty body bags on stretchers, possibly a Secret Service training?

your link says "webinars"

they strap you to the stretcher.

Protests bring "body bag" props to the White House area, they are tossed over the fence or something, security scans them, finds them to be innocuous and they are then taken away without secrecy because who cares at that point.

This is an unlikely scenario, but given what we don't know about White House security (nor should know) something along those lines remains distantly possible -- the major point being that "body bag" props have been brought into the area of the White House in the past, therefore historically not everything that looks like one (even looks rather a lot like one) seen in that area is genuine.

Assuming the footage is not doctored, rolling things like musical keyboards or buffet stands or something similarly unrelated to body bags but looking vaguely like them from a distance seems to me most likely, prop body bags from a protest seem remotely possible, the White House trying to secretly smuggle body bags out of the building by using the front door in view of a well-known webcam in broad daylight seems totally implausible. Your mileage may vary.

how would that affect the weight, the top-heaviness, or the difficulty of controlling it from the far end?
it's not that steep, it's a wheelchair ramp. and its not like the ambulance would be outside on the street. they would just pull the ambulance up TO the stretcher.*

*not that they would bring a body bag out the front door, or at least not cover it with a sheet. let alone two bodies.

You do need two guys to lift it into the ambulance. Even for me... and you (big guy) could bodybag me down a pretty steep hill, i'm light.

keyboards are bagged or crated for transportation, and keyboard stands fold up.
Universally? I've seen things like this during band loadin at venues, assumed it was a keyboard under there. But even assuming bagging the keyboard, if you had a stand like this you'd have to roll it out, hence the wheels.

I suppose it could also be sound/light board, or stand for same? IDK.

Or perhaps the President has an inordinate enjoyment of marimbas.

Edit to add picture of wheeled keyboard cart that I forgot to insert...

The one time I saw a marimba-like instrument, it was transported in pieces and assembled on site. If you look closely at your picture, you can see the wingnuts and other connections where the frame comes apart. It, and your keyboard cart, are wheeled so they can be moved around inside a building, typically on or off a stage. A mobile sound- or light board isn't as big, is typically transported in its own case, and set up on a (folding) table or a stack of crates. I have never seen musical equipment transported on a top-heavy gurney-style contraption, it wouldn't be practical, and wouldn't protect the equipment well from damage.

do they keep their holiday decorations at the White House? maybe they are plastic tote bins of colored lights for the Forth of July. They usually change the spotlights to red (white) and blue for the holiday. ? although a week in advance seems a bit too early.

It is abject nonsense to me.

Why would you even take them outside? There's a loading dock somewhere.

Sure, but dealing in "abject nonsense" is most of what we do here at metabunk.

Are you suggesting we merely answer every question about things like 9/11 and UFOs, etc similarly and don't bother trying to explain them?

It's from the March 22, 2016 bombing in Brussels, 33 killed (taken the day after).
i'm just saying you dont always need two. if there are two paramedics standing around then both usually help, but i was on a stretcher once (alive obviously) and he had to go quite a way and turns, and he had no problem pushing me to the ambulance by himself. the lady stayed behind to lock up my house.

those pics look more like what we call gurneys. in AMerica our stretchers are typically more substantial and have handbrakes and everything. (and they also arent usually chest level like the OP vid. if that is a stretcher, that paramedic is super short...which of course is possible but then does perhaps lean more toward needed two people if one paramedic is unusually short. <am i allowed to say that? i'm sure unusually short paramedics could probably manage too. i can manage super heavy shopping carts down curbs and slopes..although a hand brake would be useful at times)

Suggestion: perhaps something like a rolled carpet or tapestry being removed for cleaning or repair?

We know there was a sports event at the White House in the morning, the Soldier Ride (see above for source)

we can infer there was a first aid station, which would have stretchers

we can also infer that the EMTs running the first aid station dismantled it after the guests had left, so perhaps they were done with that and left around 12:40.

or, as would be normal, they were moving the stretchers TO an accident site. it is awfully gloomy [weather]in Rorys long shot

would also explain why the first "trolly" is at chest level to pusher. i never went back to check the trolly height to second pusher.

Marimbas are often transported whole with a cover. Our local high school transports them multiple times in the fall for marching band competitions.

Transporting in pieces causes all sorts of issues, not the least of which is time

that's horrible optics. you can't say if a tourist had a heart attack in the front there, "take him out through the loading dock boys".
Except that I've seen it that way. It has to do with how the buildings are internally shaped, the elevator layouts, the elevator sizes, where medical transportation can park, and (importantly) not attracting attention.

For instance, I remember a time there was a medical emergency at a Federal office building that I was working in. The building had three entrances. One required stairs, one had no availability for parking an ambulance, and the loading dock. The ambulance backed into the dock, which had direct access to a freight elevator without crossing the lobby (and thus bypassing three security points. It involved no steps to get from the back of the ambulance to the elevator, went directly to the floor they needed, and never had to move through the turnstiles. It was far more efficient to use the dock.

There's just no reason for it to be there that day? or is there?
I very much doubt the WH had marimbas, xylophones or other similar instruments come in. I mean definitely not impossible. I know Obama held musical events at the White House Frequently, but haven't head the same about Biden (not that I've looked into it). They are not the most popular instruments and it would be more likely Biden would attend a concert somewhere else that features these types of instruments (orchestra, symphony etc)

To go along with this, I'm sure many places would take victims out a loading dock rather than front door so as not to disturb other patrons (although I would highly doubt the WH would have this sort of policy as it is government). My current employer (casino) requires first responders to provide CPR on dead people until they are outside of the casino so other patrons aren't disturbed by someone dying.
