It's a VERY tenuous link to the current con-as-chemtrail debate, has anybody come across it before?

Yeah. Dispersement tests. Invisible clouds of what was thought to be harmless stuff was sprayed to see how far it went. It comes up all the time. Need to write a one-stop debunking post sometime.


Terrible article. I'm disappointed in the BBC - looks like it's going the way of the Discovery Channel.

Well, as far as I remember, it was our regional BBC studio production some six years ago. They responded to a fuss made by two local MPs demanding a public inquiry.
