I don't know if you should care or not, but mynm seems to be pointing to the hypocrisy in the seductiveness of the SPLC and the multiculture madness which is part of the (dare I say it) culture wars. Pulling apart the social fabric of the west for nefarious means of establishing that totalitarian state that is so attractive to some, so feared by others and so ignored or denied by the rest. It's a big part of the context that drives the rhetoric of AJ and others.
I assume you meant 'selectiveness' not seductiveness.
How does SPLC pull apart social fabric by highlighting civil rights issues?
Mynym seems to think their work is void because it doesn't highlight the work of the evil Zions.
Somewhat ironic considering of course that the evil Zions have featured heavily as imagined protagonists in all fascist movements.

It' s really difficult to give credence to there being a credible distinction between the two, especially given that whole 'protocols of the elders' hoax.

All Zionists are Jews, but not all Jews are Zionists, I guess?
Maybe not all anti-zionists are anti-semitics, but all anti-semitics are anti-zionists.
I don't care about the Zions, and don't really understand or care why people do.

Mainly I'm just wondering why mynym brought the statements of a Jewish extremist into the conversation at all.

That's all Zionsim is? Support for the return of Jews to Palestine and cultural integrity?
I thought it was an evil plot to take over the world.

(I apologise, I don't want to drag this thread into a debate about what Zionism 'really is'.
I was seeking clarification of what the statements of a jewish extremist not being put on the hate-speech list by a group that advocates civil rights had to do with either their possible secret fascist or Zionist leanings and how that meant the hate-speech they do highlight was not really hate-speech. Or something like that?
But nevermind, consider it too high-concept for my comprehension and continue the original off-topic topic.)

The SPLC does list some Jewish organizations among the hate groups: The Jewish Defense League, The Jewish Task Force, and Kach Kahane Chai. They don't list Chabad which is part of the Hasidic movement. Its headquarters are in New York. Yitzchak Ginsburgh lives in Israel and is considered to be an extremist and doesn't represent the entire Chabbad community. He has been investigated in the past for his extremist/racist comments.
