Hoax: Climate Engineering Pilot Disclosure?

Listen man, I have a life. I can't be addressing the flock of comments I get on every single thread. POST even. Your little group here that just swarms me makes it really hard. Sorry!
Yeah, like (intelligent) flies on _ _ _ _

Maybe make only enough posts that you can intelligently argue for the topic you said you wanted to discuss...

ETA: Oh noes!!! I just got yet another red X from hiilikeyourbird!!

Surely that means that I was seriously off track, intellectually...and in order to
maintain a high-level of scholarly discourse, Bird needed to rock my

foundation with a Richard Feynman-esque retort...in the bold shape of
a crooked cross...I think I'll go meditate on the deep significance
of Bird's thoughtful
iconography...

Or someone's merely a crankypants...

You mean chemtrails? Yes, there is. Jay has compiled quite a history of how it all started. I'd look it up for you if you say you want to see it.
I think he was referring to the letters that just seem WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too fanciful for me to even contemplate it being anything else. it;s like everything including the kitchen sink is thrown at it.
There;s loads of small islands with aquatic building robots building HAARP arrays all round them etc etc.

Oh... right... I forgot what this thread was about. You're probably right. There's PLENTY of good reasons to think it's a hoax. Apparently somebody hasn't taken time to read the info available right in this thread.

Weird. I'm talking about this interview. Why would this man make all this up? This information sounds very classified.

Honestly, I'd make it all up as a good joke myself personally.

Really, if I wanted to make a good buck, I would run a website promoting chemtrails and selling something like those vinegar sprays and say it removes trails from the sky.

Just saying.

OK...you refer of course to the actual topic of this thread? (When you said "interview"? Because in order to stay On-Topic I will address the points mentioned in the "Opening Post").

Lemme explain to you why this is made up, and by people very unfamiliar with airplanes and aviation in general. I will start with the terrible grammar and sentence structure. This makes it seem amateurish.

Next, a ludicrous claim of "un-named" islands, and "eight bases per year" being constructed. Such a massive undertaking would be impossible to "hide". The mention of "HAARP arrays" being built there is also ridiculous. I'd invite you to actually research and learn what HAARP can (and cannot) do. In a nutshell, HAARP can ONLY affect the very high altitude regions....FAR, FAR above the stratosphere where airliners cruise and make contrails. HAARP inter-acts with the ionosphere, which doesn't begin until about 53 miles above Earth's surface (This is the edge of space, FFS!). Airliners cruise from 5-8 miles high, typically.

"Fully autonomous robot submersibles"?? Really? (Anyone who falls for that might be interested in the bridge that I'm selling...it crosses the Pacific from San Francisco to Hawai'i).

Finally....the entire notion that an airplane, any airplane could carry the weight needed to create these visual "trails" shows a complete lack of understanding of the limitations that force every airplane into a compromise, and just the sheer HUGE volume of atmosphere on Earth.

I have a (wordy) illustration that I try to boil down succinctly: Imagine only one contrail that is 50-feet diameter, and only one mile long. This is a volume of nearly 12 million cubic feet (online calculator: http://www.online-calculators.co.uk/volumetric/cylindervolume.php)

Radius = 25 (feet), "Height" = 5,280 (feet)

That volume is about the same (to visualize) as a cube 228 feet per side. OR, a 20-story building, 228 feet per side. Bear in mind that the former WTC 1&2 were only 208 feet wide....and 110 stories tall.

Now, airliners cruise at 450 to 480 MPH...which is 7 1/2 to 8 miles per minute...so that "one mile" of contrail is laid down in only 8 seconds...or less!

Chew on these numbers, check 'em out thoroughly. Think about it.......

Is it made up? Is this completely fabricated? And what are the motives behind this?

Of course it is made up! Why are people so gullible to fall for this type of fabrication? Obviously written by the guy that runs the "The HAARP Report" You Tube Channel. He claims that he has been in contact with this "source" for six months and has "inside info" of when the current program is changing. It is an easy, easy spin. No doubt he has a whole string of e-mails from this "USAF pilot" ready to go so that he keeps his YT Channel hits ticking over! I predict that more "pilots" will be spilling the beans to this guy? I bet that he has a folder full of them on his PC ;)

This is a message I received, from a credible source. This message is (allegedly) from a USAF pilot, who flies Aerosol Tankers, as part of the secret Indigo Skyfold (geoengineered aerosol "chemtrail") program.

Please save this text, and forward the video! (The text was too long for Youtube to put in the description, so I will put the entire message in the comments section.)

I've known the source for six months, and I have POST confirmation of most of the things he's told me, IN ADVANCE.
Also, IF THIS WAS DISINFO, the last message from the pilot would be "after Jan 20, they are shutting down the program".

INSTEAD, he says the opposite: "a very new "extremely toxic" chemtrail mix, is going to be sprayed. Using new technology, that makes these special chemtrails, completely invisible."
That is not how disinfo works. The last communication was the opportunity to calm the herd, instead, it is a call to action.
If you have a geiger counter, with an alpha/beta probe, please test the aerosol fallout, now, and after January 20, 2015. The best way to test the aerosols, is to wipe your car hood, and windshield, with a clean paper towel, after a dry period of heavy spraying. Then, test the towel for alpha and beta radiation. This is especially important in California, which has no natural radon sources upwind.

Dust off your Geiger counter! ;) :)

It is an easy, easy spin.

There is so much more info that I did not include in my Post #50, above....for brevity and ease of understanding.

This gives me an opportunity to further explain the aviation aspects of the alleged "un-named remote islands").

ALL airplanes require fuel in order to operate...this should be obvious to anyone who drives a car, and has ever run out of gas.

Just as a car's gas tank is only "so-big", same with airplanes....they can carry "only so much" fuel. But, it gets more complicated....

Let's say we have these imaginary "bases" on "un-named islands" out at sea? OK....NOW the imaginary "chem"trail airplane must take-off, fly OVER the sea to get over the continents....and "spray" ('cough, cough') and STILL have enough fuel for the "round-trip". ALL while being able to CARRY the weight of all of that fuel (Jet A-1 weighs about 6.7 pounds per gallon)...AND the alleged "chemicals" too. (EDIT: At the time of take-off...of course, the fuel that you "need" is already part of your over-all weight, and weight decreases as you "burn" the fuel...but, what is left, in terms of "other" weight you can carry??? There are maximum weight limitations for EVERY airplane, specific to each, and depending on factors such as runway length...to name a few).

Weight is the "enemy" of an airplane....(if 'enemy' can be used, here). Over-All weight is a critical factor in determining ALL aircraft flights, whether an airliner, a hot-air balloon, a helicopter....or a Cessna. ALSO critical in ALL aircraft is its individual "balance" requirements. This is, really, "Aviation 101": (I actually just "Googled" that term, and found this link to "Embry-Riddle", a WELL-known pilot training facility based in Florida -- http://news.erau.edu/top-news/embry-riddle-offers-free-aviation-101-online-class-for-public-signup).

Furthermore....each and every time when we see contrails, they come from.....the engines....in the exhaust. And ONLY at high altitudes. The engines don't form contrails at low altitudes, take-off and landing....correct?

This is (sorry for some who know already) quite elementary.

This is a map of radon distribution in California

Zone 1 counties have a predicted average indoor radon screening level greater than 4 pCi/L (picocuries per liter) (red zones) Highest Potential

Zone 2 counties have a predicted average indoor radon screening level between 2 and 4 pCi/L (orange zones) Moderate Potential

Zone 3 counties have a predicted average indoor radon screening level less than 2 pCi/L (yellow zones) Low Potential

and this is the current (at time of posting) wind chart for California

Note the high radon area around Santa Barbra, note the wind direction in that area, the big red arrow pointing due north, will not that spread the radon around the rest of the state?

Anyone who was REALLY a pilot with vital and secret information would know this and not make the claim, cos such a claim blows a pretty big hole in their credibility. So that leaves three possibilities. A) The whistleblower is lying through his teeth. B) Its a deliberate hoax on the gullible chemtrail community and as we speak the original source for the hoax is splitting their sides laughing that the chemtrailers fell for it or C) Its someone within the chemtrail community manufacturing evidence to bolster their own flimsy claims of conspiracy.

A, B or C... its still a pile of cattle dung.

How did "radon" get in here? (I guess I need to review the thread....because I sold a house in a suburb of Denver ...a place then called "Highlands Ranch"....on 'Ridgeglen Drive', IIRC...some years ago, and was told by a Real Estate Agent that it needed a "radon test" in the basement....total bogosity!!)

BTW, when this happened? 1989. WELL, well before the silly "chem"trail craze began.

( I had bought this particular house in 1987....sold it in 1989 and moved to Phoenix...OK, TMI already... 'kidding' about the "TMI"....completely honest about my experience with the "craze", back then, of "radon" in basements!! I had a model railroad in the basement, for chrissakes!! Spent hours there!! ;) )

Radon is a naturally occurring radioactive gas.
Radon is a chemical element with symbol Rn and atomic number 86. It is a radioactive, colorless, odorless, tasteless[2] noble gas, occurring naturally as an indirect decay product of uranium or thorium. Its most stable isotope, 222Rn, has a half-life of 3.8 days. Radon is one of the densest substances that remains a gas under normal conditions. It is also the only gas under normal conditions that only has radioactive isotopes, and is considered a health hazard due to its radioactivity. Intense radioactivity has also hindered chemical studies of radon and only a few compounds are known....

....Radon is produced by the radioactive decay of radium-226, which is found in uranium ores; phosphate rock; shales; igneous and metamorphic rocks such as granite, gneiss, and schist; and, to a lesser degree, in common rocks such as limestone.[60] Every square mile of surface soil, to a depth of 6 inches (2.6 km2 to a depth of 15 cm), contains approximately 1 gram of radium, which releases radon in small amounts to the atmosphere[3] On a global scale, it is estimated that 2,400 million curies (90 TBq) of radon are released from soil annually.[61]

Radon concentration varies widely from place to place. In the open air, it ranges from 1 to 100 Bq/m3, even less (0.1 Bq/m3) above the ocean. In caves or aerated mines, or ill-aerated houses, its concentration climbs to 20–2,000 Bq/m3.[62] Radon concentration can be much higher in mining contexts. Ventilation regulations instruct to maintain radon concentration in uranium mines under the "working level", with 95th percentile levels ranging up to nearly 3 WL (546 pCi 222Rn per liter of air; 20.2 kBq/m3, measured from 1976 to 1985).[3] The concentration in the air at the (unventilated) Gastein Healing Gallery averages 43 kBq/m3 (1.2 nCi/L) with maximal value of 160 kBq/m3 (4.3 nCi/L)

from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radon

here's a load of info about radon in the UK, i can't imagine cali-radon is any different or dealt with in different ways
http://www.ukradon.org/

as for how to deal with it...
Because the half-life of radon is only 3.8 days, removing or isolating the source will greatly reduce the hazard within a few weeks. Another method of reducing radon levels is to modify the building's ventilation. Generally, the indoor radon concentrations increase as ventilation rates decrease.[3] In a well ventilated place, the radon concentration tends to align with outdoor values (typically 10 Bq/m3, ranging from 1 to 100 Bq/m3).[6]

Radon levels in indoor air can be lowered in a number of ways, from sub-slab depressurization to increasing the ventilation rate of the building. The four principal ways of reducing the amount of radon accumulating in a house are[6][128]

  • Sub-slab depressurization (soil suction) by increasing under-floor ventilation;
  • Improving the ventilation of the house and avoiding the transport of radon from the basement into living rooms;
  • Installing a radon sump system in the basement;
  • Installing a positive pressurization or positive supply ventilation system.
According to the EPA[6] the method to reduce radon "...primarily used is a vent pipe system and fan, which pulls radon from beneath the house and vents it to the outside," which is also called sub-slab depressurization, active soil depressurization, or soil suction. Generally indoor radon can be mitigated by sub-slab depressurization and exhausting such radon-laden air to the outdoors, away from windows and other building openings. "EPA generally recommends methods which prevent the entry of radon. Soil suction, for example, prevents radon from entering your home by drawing the radon from below the home and venting it through a pipe, or pipes, to the air above the home where it is quickly diluted" and "EPA does not recommend the use of sealing alone to reduce radon because, by itself, sealing has not been shown to lower radon levels significantly or consistently".[129]

Positive-pressure ventilation systems can be combined with a heat exchanger to recover energy in the process of exchanging air with the outside, and simply exhausting basement air to the outside is not necessarily a viable solution as this can actually draw radon gas into a dwelling. Homes built on a crawl space may benefit from a radon collector installed under a "radon barrier" (a sheet of plastic that covers the crawl space).[6][130] For crawlspaces, the EPA states "An effective method to reduce radon levels in crawlspace homes involves covering the earth floor with a high-density plastic sheet. A vent pipe and fan are used to draw the radon from under the sheet and vent it to the outdoors. This form of soil suction is called submembrane suction, and when properly applied is the most effective way to reduce radon levels in crawlspace homes."[129]

In all honesty, I believe his source to be an actual pilot. Not just anyone would mention a piper cub similar to a dream machine and use words like "flight time." Personally, I suspect that the guy who runs "The HAARP Report," may have a connection who knows a real pilot, pesters that pilot with a questions about chemtrails, and the pilot decides to troll back in return.

I mean seriously, "HAARP Arrays"?? You only need to figure out what HAARP even stands for (High Frequency Auroral Research Program) to figure out how obnoxiously ridiculous that is.

And another: He e-mails his supposed "cousin," when he cannot e-mail the haarp conspiracy dude himself... Isn't that a little contradictory?

And another: "Indigo Skyfold"??? A somehow top-secretive, and presumably competent government, would name their operation flowery blue/purple color seriously has issues. The mention of Indigo Child in a previous post made me chuckle

And another!:Unable to google earth any of these "blurred island bases"???? Seriously, if there was a pilot engaged in a top secret spray program, who wanted to blow the lid and go home, and would go to the extra hassle of trying to communicate with some conspiracy group, all he needs to do is drop in the lat/long coordinates of those islands to someone who does digging and forget about Google earth. The IRS/RNAV system (navigation yo) on any big jet displays this in plain sight for navigation purposes, and every jet pilot would know this.

And yet another: Self-destruct sequence? Yeah, as if that didn't come from a Star Trek film.

Again: Planes brought down by Russian, Chinese, and Korean weaponry. "Media would never cover these events." Hell, at least two of these countries would brag about bringing down an intruding aircraft from 'Murica.

You just made me realise that I hadn't mentioned what radon was

Yes, of course. When it comes to the "topic" of this thread (the propensity for "hoax" development), it is quite commonplace for those who wish to create, and "promote" a hoax to become rather, shall we say? "creative" in that endeavour.....

I can see, here, that I seriously missed some aspects of this thread's "evolution"....still, my post number....(forty-something") at least comports to the OP.

Of course, as usual, this topic tends to veer a bit. ESPECIALLY when a "hoax" such as this is discussed...anyone recall the years-ago "airline mechanic" hoax??:

A link: (AND, a long 'read'):

http://www.rense.com/general/stumble.htm

(EDIT: When a person uses, in the second post, the acronym "ATA"? This says, to me as a pilot, that this person has some credibility. I would invite the "casual reader" who has not been involved in actual Airline Operations to grasp "why"...and to then NOT post it online).

SADLY??? Deeper down in the "Rense" link above is another friggin' HOAX letter, allegedly from some "un-named airline executive" that suggest something called "Project Cloverleaf".

More B.S.

And, here at MetaBunk:

The so-called "Project Cloverleaf" nonsense is WAY old....long ago debunked.

@hiilikeyourbird,

you have disagreed with a post I wrote earlier, when I said:

"Aluminum is also a component of various sorts of clay. The percentage is not as high as in bauxite, but the common lab test will indicate it clearly."

I'm honestly interested what bit of that sentence you are disagreeing with. Can you explain?
If you want you can PM me, to avoid the 'swarm' (which I can understand). Or simply reply to the other thread.

If the two emails are supposedly from different people, I wonder why they both have the same funky misuse of commas and full stops?

There are so many factors in this flagging a hoax it is hard to know where to start. The complete lack of verifiable detail is the main one. There is absolutely nothing that can be verified.

The pilot talking to my cousin who talks to me who talks to you???

The sad thing is that if you tell CTers what they wish to hear, then all the defences of reason disappear.

I see the same kind of comma use quite a bit online. I used to think it was nonnative speakers, because it seemed fairly consistent, and nonnative speakers tend make the same errors over and over rather than erratic ones, because they picked it up while learning and weren't corrected early. But it seems too common, particularly on gaming sites, for that to cover it all. It's also too common to all be the same person.

Every time I've sold a home to someone from the midwest, they say they want a radon test. Which is totally unnecessary on Long Island.

I just googled the term nanites.
I'm surprised Weedwhacker hasn't already mentioned it comes literally straight out of Star Trek.

Yes. And, they were "intelligent".

I, for one, welcome our new incredibly tiny "overlords"....

"Ugly bags of mostly water" (from another scene in that episode)...that line describes us to a "T".

speak for yourself. I am a very handsome bag. the reason I have the T Shirt on my head in my pic is so I don't make you lot all jealous.

It's a shame cos it's a square pic you can't see who my chess opponent is. cos the board is glass and the "table " is slatted the shadow is not as obvious as it might be. Anyone who knows the classics can guess though.

Just to stay OT, this is looking more and more a ridiculous hoax the more "emails" I see.

Yes, indeed. The "hoax" aspect stands out obviously to those of us with experience in aviation. Sadly, this is (as I might have mentioned up-thread) is far too similar to the already de-bunked "airline mechanic" letter, and the "airline executive" letter.

Really....either these hoaxes are done by complete "hacks", or they are meant to be so contrived as to be a sort of "poking fun" at believers.

Option (A) is possible; option (B) is a bad idea, because of the damage to real conversation and information sharing that it may cause.

So on Jan 21, when we still see just as many contrails as before, we'll know this is BS, right?

Of course. Every time a bunk prediction fails to come true, that's the end of the problem, right? On a related note, the author of one of the most prominent 12-21-2012 Mayan apocalypse books scheduled a book signing for 12-22-2012.

In fact, I'll put the over-under for this hoax's next email at Jan 23, and I refuse to give odds on whether the CT community buys it, because of course they will.

In my experience, the heavy use of commas in typed text shows where the writer would pause when speaking if he were speaking rather than writing. To me this comes up often with folks who aren't used to having to write formally, and instead do most of their writing informally; personal emails, texting, online chats or posts that aren't for professional purposes. I'd think that most pilots are far more accustomed to having to compose formal letters so that the way these texts 'read' are a little too unprofessional to be from trained pilots, unless, as someone mentioned, it may be a non-english speaker trying to convey a certain cadence of speech when typing. Other than that, though, it sounds like an internet blogger or poster trying to write what he thinks a pilot's letter would sound like. Twice.

Not sure if it's the links in this thread or not, but SOMEWHERE was the claim that these letters had been through something that deliberately changed the writing style/syntax so the author could not be identified with it.
Presumably objections like yours had already noted so they needed something that would sound plausible to the gullible.
