No, they were on public land, and security knew they were there. They flew the jet in their sight knowing they were there. The military either didn't care or wanted footage of it to get out. Likely to get potential adversary nations concerned...
It got them the press coverage they were after and is of no further use at the moment.
I doubt it will come up again unless they are truly unable to think of any other self promoting stunt they could pull.
