The sun is 93 million miles away, so I don't think the difference in angle relative to the sun is enough to be significant. The angle from camera to (presumed) target will be.

Apologies, a bit off-topic but I noticed a link I gave in post #20 (about Barney and Betty Hill's descriptions of their abductors) was incomplete, too late to edit that post but I feel the linked article is useful re. the Hill case, "Yankee...

Agree. I filmed a bunch of balloons a kid accidentally let go of in a parking lot during the eclipse in 2024 and it looks fairly similar. https://www.metabunk.org/threads/balloon-shapes.12857/post-314544

I'd not be thrilled about catching an unidentified potential spy balloon... potentially there could be a self destruct system.

Here's the official release combined with the earlier leak's OSD, this actually give slightly more motion info, as you can see more of the background behind the redaction boxes - although the leaked version has some duplicated frames

At about 3 mins 38 secs into DOW-UAP-PR059, "NAG UAP 1 JUN 20" the bright areas seems to move very rapidly to the left (and expand, perhaps appear more diffuse or unfocussed). But the background appears very noisy, I'm not sure there are fixed...

You can see the background “stopping” after losing the target, to me that reeks of “Syrian istantaneous acceleration”. If someone could see if the object actually accelerates before the camera stops abruptly, that would be interesting.

Looks very much like a bunch of balloons to me. I don;t see the shape as being strange or anomalous at all! Nor does it seem to resemble the LA case very much. PS: The LA case sure looks like one of these: With one leg detached (the legs...

Here's a Pinkbow photo taken by my wife a few years ago. This is basically an ordinary rainbow illuminated by the red light of a setting sun.

I'm seeing a plane in this image and similar ones -- added here are the features that I am seeing, and hopefully it is clear why I think it' a plane rather than a broken contrail. The winglet and vertical stabilizer are indistinct, but note...

PR078, a pattern is emerging.... Loss of lock, blinking, then zip-off as the camera changes direction. I think this is pretty definitive at this point.
  • Chief Gleeby
The blinking mentioned also happens here. From PR59 So it's blinking because it's losing confidence in the lock, and then it just transitions to the other mode and we get a zip-off.

Hi! This is a bit I've saved to post on social media from time to time, as needed. It might be helpful: Quote by: Me! I'd add, in this case -- "Can they make big X's in the sky. Yes, because planes fly in different directions, if you have...

Recently I published Polish article: https://ufonapowaznie.pl/ufo-z-kumburgaz-w-turcji-problematyczny-przypadek/ about this case (there is option in menu for translate). It doesn't really help with identifying the objects. It focuses on...
