I found this site recently, https://satarg.com/ which is a very user-friendly satellite spotting tool.
The sky view is very easy to use and easily lets you identify the areas where flares are visible. It also works in realtime on mobile devices.
There's a cool ISS map with livestream video page.
Interestingly, they have a 'what did you see in the sky...?' identifier app... which I tested with a known passs of the ISS - and it works!
