New potential hoaxed/LARP "Navy FLIR" video

A new reddit thread shows a very similar looking video to GIMBAL, but the quality seems rather too good.

1080x1080 way to big a res for a real FLIR video, seems to have a fake scanline effect as well.

Also the numbers don't make sense

Z of 2.1?
M1.81 but only 252kts, not at 2010 feet...
and the HUD has some other inconsistencies, missing direction pip.

But it's fairly well done, if they hadn't messed up the numbers and had properly downgraded the video quality I think this would be hard to tell. Be nice to get the original that was uploaded with some metadata..

Reddit seems to be on the ball with this one though, but it might get some traction. There's also a tiktok that seems to show someone copying it from some USB drives, all seems highly LARP adjacent.

Object is already appearing in the zoom off part before it actually is gone from the centre.

why am i seeing tree tops or bushes and a clump of dirt/mountain at 2000 feet? is that possible?
Aircraft altimeters measure altitude relative to mean sea level. It is the pilot‘s responsibility to then use maps, charts and plates to determine he is flying sufficiently high to clear features and objects on the ground.

The tree line can be over 4 000’ in places so trees are possible if the “plane” is flying over higher ground. E.g., New York is at 30’ and Denver is over 5 000’.

Oi! Don't make me click!

Full thread title is "OMG another unknown pentagon video?!?!!! No... another fake using the GoFast video." Reddit doesn't show me images or videos, so I have no idea what is fake. 27 dollops of internet gibbering follow that title and blank rectangle, none really worth quoting.
Sorry, there seems to be a trend of people making videos using the full overlays/partial modified overlays from the 3 Navy videos.

This one just takes most of the the Go Fast overlay and merges it with another video made to look like B&W FLIR footage.

You can tell it's fake because the numbers are the exact same as the Go Fast video and the fake tracking object bars stay close but the object does not remain centred.

The embedding works for me, same as for youtube videos, tweets, and imgur posts.

Yeah, absolutely none of those work for me in the latest version of this browser that I'm prepared to install (because it has some must-have features that were removed after this version).

Yup, I did find my way to this image:https://i.ibb.co/n1qrJ5B/post.png which shows what you describe.

That looks super fake. Not even close to the real thing. Some teenagers are having a blast with this, I'm sure.
