I've been trying to use sitrec on an iPad pro as an aid to satellite observing, but the loaded stitch (and the time) seems to loop back once the Time > Time (sec) slider reaches the end (defaults to 27s). Also the date defaults to 19 9 2022. So Feature request - could we have a Free Running Mode that continually plays and displays visual satellite in Real time for a set location?

Edit - i think https://www.metabunk.org/sitrec/?sitch=nightsky kinda does this but only up to 650secs, then the time resets.

So, like a "Live" mode? (Except one that also can predict the future)?

Something to enable those who "summon alien craft" to perform those summonings - accompanied by a verifiable "definitely not planes - you can check on FlightRadar" claim - with greater reliability? What could possibly go wrong?

the future prediction function has always been there in pages such as heavens-above.com. They used to publish the details of upcoming Iridium Flares and that was pretty cool - no doubt the experiencers would be thanking them for appearing in the sky today if they hadn't de-orbited the constellation!

The reason I want it it just to show my son the satellite flares coming up in real time. It's so cool to see them and to realise just how far away they are.

This gives me a rare opportunity to flaunt my Iridium 3 photo taken just three weeks before it was deorbited.
