There are several forums on the internet for the skeptical, and I've been of a few of them over the years. Here's a look at some of them

(Dates are the earliest referenced pages on archive.org, I suspect that most of these forums existed in some form for several years before now)

JRef Forums, 2004

A huge forum, with a lot of members, 512 of whom were online just now. Seemingly though a lot of the threads are actually started by believers, and much time is spent there smacking them down.

BAUT Forum, 2005

Lots more members, but less discussion.

Skeptic Forum, 2005

phpBB Total posts 213418 • Total topics 10398 • Total members 4975
The forum of the Skeptic Scociety (Michael Sherma), only 20% the size of JRef.
Seems to have a better focus on Skepticism with less trolling.

Members unknowns, seems like maybe ten net topics a day, not that many comments.
