I see that David Lim is using the same Ballast Barrel Hoax tactic that John Massaria used. This is so sad to see a qualified scientist become ensnared in such a hoax. Beginning on March 18th, and also through his Facebook and Youtube channels I did my best to invite him over here for a polite discussion, but he seems to have jumped off the cliff or have fallen under the very bad influence of this hoax. Unless we can talk some sense into him, all we can do is debunk him. His professional credibility and career is likely to suffer.
I posted a screen shot of a FB comment he made and he claims he has information that will blow the university world apart but he will only come forward when he has his Phd.
I will link it when I get to a PC.
I have been blocked from a number of FB pages recently that are lauding Mr Lim as a possible insider. I have been challenging vigorously the recent presumptions about our weather etc and challenging their data, and lack of method. I even received some threats.
When I get the chance I will link his recent newspaper article after his talk and he has his uni email as a contact

Monsanto connection made to jet engines and aerosol jet fuel...
you guys probably work for Monsanto. You all must have no soul... trying to ruin peoples career since they speak out... DDT, Agent Orange, Aspartame, Roundup and GMO food ... now the connection with CONtrails and Monsanto. Congrats people at metabunk, you really show your true colors.

GSY (Company on barrels of 'water') was hired by USAF for HAARP so... there is that connection...

Not paranoid at all then?
Evidence please. You can return to Youtube now, but please note that this is an example of how to respond to multiple posts without spamming a forum unnecessarily.
External Quote:What can government do about conspiracy theories? Among the things it can do, what should it do? We can readily imagine a series of possible responses. (1) Government might ban conspiracy theorizing. (2) Government might impose some kind of tax, financial or otherwise, on those who disseminate such theories. (3) Government might itself engage in counterspeech, marshaling arguments to discredit conspiracy theories. (4) Government might formally hire credible private parties to engage in counterspeech. (5) Government might engage in informal communication with such parties, encouraging them to help. Each instrument has a distinctive set of potential effects, or costs and benefits, and each will have a place under imaginable conditions. However, our main policy idea is that government should engage in cognitive infiltration of the groups that produce conspiracy theories, which involves a mix of (3), (4) and (5).
No worries. Seems to me that Mr. Lim is doing a good enough job ruining his own career, well that much of it that might still actually be credible, to not need any help,Er. Why would I work for Monsanto? Have you seen where I am from? You do understand that the UK has NO commercial GM crops. In fact we are just at the stage of planting a second single TEST crop and public opinion is still swayed against comnercialisation.
As for ruin a career. Surely if Mr Lim has irrefutable evidence this will be the making of his career. However he is also making his claims on the basis that he is a researcher for the University of Reading, as well as using his university email as a point of contact. He is the one that is giving the impression is opinion and research are backed by the University. Reading, if you do not know is part of the Russell Group which essentially represents the top 10 Universities in the UK. Mr Lim is making claims based on his attachment to this institution and I have every right to verify any information. It is all part of something called "academic rigour".
This comment from David Lim's feed page seems to indicate that this You Tube account is indeed his. It's worth bearing in mind that it may not be the man himself running the Youtube account bearing his name. Stranger sock-puppets have happened.

Again, you folks love to throw insults around to try and discredit people- you talk among yourselves and everyone who comes here feels the same way- you lack empathy, a soul a heart. I wouldn't be surprised if none of you have a family of your own, because only loaners speak with out heart or care about anyone else other than their own egos.
Your entire metabunk site is, as it is stated in a paper written in 2008, Cass Sunstein, legal scholar, and Administrator of the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, wrote of appropriate government responses to conspiracy theories. In the paper he stated:

Gee! You mean I'm entitled to TWO paychecks? Monsanto AND the government, I must have missed this somewhere in the instructions. Whom do I tell where to send the money? I guess I'd better apologize to Cass Sunstien for thinking he was a political shill.First we all worked for Monsanto, now the government. You seem more willing to discredit US than to offer credible evidence.

You mean these labels on these barrels of water?

Zoom in and look closely, it's actually G 5 Y... not GSY. It's not the letter S, it's the number 5.
Besides, the full name of the company that worked under a navy contract is GSY-USA, Inc., and it's just a couple of geology consultants. They developed some software code under a one year contract with the Air Force Research Laboratory related to analysis of underground structures that could be detected using a transmitter like the IRI at the HAARP facility. They basically just developed new software codes for imaging analysis. The research had nothing to do with the HAARP facility itself other than being mentioned as an example of the kind of transmitter that could be used for non-invasive underground imaging. I emphasized non-invasive in case you get any ideas about earthquakes or some other such nonsense.

There ya go... deeee-bunked.
Let's also look at your list of 'evils'
DDT, still the best way to reduce malaria. Overused so it did cause problems with bird eggs-It's OVERUSE,
Agent Orange---the problems with it stems to contamination with dioxin. The dioxin contamination was the problem, not the chemical as it was properly made
Aspartame--there are a few folks allergic, but not other credible evidence of harm from it
Roundup---Where is the solid, credible evidence against it, when it is used properly
GMO crops---the same question as with RoundUp
It looks like to me that you are trying to ruin a company because you don't LIKE their products. In spite of the fact that their products are helping millions of folks.
Helping millions make billions, and killing billions with the cover ups. Thanks for all your humanitarian efforts to go Green Caireen. I assume most of you must have no family of your own. Tell me, why does our President plant ORGANIC NON GMO crops at the white house?
Because he and Mrs Obama are politicians.
Killing billions?
yes over the last 50 years, related deaths to the chemicals and poison's made and manufactured by Monsanto- and those being poisoned daily by "Monsanto like" chemical companies today well over a billion.
You mean these labels on these barrels of water?

Please cite the facts supporting this number. Prove your contentions. Show me where more people have died from the effects of Monsanto products than from starvation. How many lives has Monsanto saved and improved with its products vs those who MAY have been harmed? Reminds me of the peanut allergy flap. Peanut products are horrible and must be restricted because a few people are allergic and a few have died yet peanut butter is a good, low cost form of protein for the overwhelming majority. Have some people been harmed by Monsanto products? Undoubtedly, but I'll wager that many more have been helped!yes over the last 50 years, related deaths to the chemicals and poison's made and manufactured by Monsanto- and those being poisoned daily by "Monsanto like" chemical companies today well over a billion.
I see GSY and you already established the paper for GSY, so thank you for collaborating the connection between THOSE labeled tanks of 'water' and HAARP and USAF. Thanks so much. Now about Monsanto being hired by USAF Medical Medicine.... The connection is clear. These are the papers and these are the connections. Buuuu-sted. Your web site is a front for illegal coverups.
So, where is this David Lim and why is he hiding away when we are all challenging him here to debate these issues? Is he a man or a mouse?
At the very end of his presentation Lim explains who he got his information from:
Michael J. Murphy
Dane Wigington
Scott Stevens
Rosalind Peterson
G. Edward Griffin
Alan Watt
Alex Longman
CPUK London
Of course the first class of idiots and disinformationalists on the list explains why David Lim is repeating bunk. None of the names he mentions appears in public where they can be pressed on the false claims they have made. They simply are not going to allow themselves to be corrected except that time will show their claims to not be fruitful. Very sad that Lim is so trusting that he could have fallen for tricksters like that so easily. He seems to have no one who cares that he is getting scammed and set up for his reputation to be abused by the cast of liars he confides in, or else they do but are unable to speak sense to him.
Anyone know of Alex Longman or what CPUK is?
That's Chemtrails Project UK https://www.facebook.com/pages/Chemtrails-Project-UK/321477711219892 and that's Mr Max Bliss' van in the cover photo https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6cmfcCVg2rg
they also have this website, http://www.chemtrailsprojectuk.com/#
David Lim seems receptive to email correspondence. I put this to him:
"Hi Dr. Lim, Have you published any academic papers relating to the talk you gave on
Geoengineering & Chemtrails in Dorset recently? In particular I am interested in the results of any effluent measurements taken from the UK atmosphere."
He replied:
"Richard, Thank you for your enquiry. I regret that I have not published work in this area. It is not my immediate area of investigation, sadly. ...."
and added:
"Cloud formation science is a well-established area of research as you may know, however air quality testing for metal particulates is only at its infancy in the UK I believe. I am unaware of any body of literature in the public domain looking into heavy metal particulates in the atmosphere as such. Maybe for obvious reasons! I am just speculating. The rain water testing that our group did showed significant disparities when double blind tests were carried out in laboratories."
So you change your story. Who are we talking about fella? All agrochemical companies??

Despite the earlier defence of '20 minutes', I suppose that talk does need properly debunking. This guy's obviously going to be one to deal with in the future.
