Of course they are
His experience of what was different?
A transition from deception to mere gainsaying isn't really progress.
We've not even raised the deception issue, I mean it's sort of irrelevant to the sighting, but if we get into people's objectivity and as they say in UFO circles, "credibility" then its relevant.

Captain Ruud must honestly think his was not such trivial experience, that's all and it's meaningless.

In his own words:
  • It is possible for this creature to go to perform hajji
  • Just like other Allah's servants in this hajj season
  • Or they are protecting us
  • who are bringing thousands of pilgrims from Africa
  • But it's all just my feeling, nothing more

Translated:
UFO (Unidentified Flying Object) doesn't necessarily mean it's Alien, but if that light:

  • Maneuvers at extreme speeds, stops suddenly, or changes direction sharply without any sound.
  • Is not detected by radar but is clearly visible visually.
  • Can disappear instantly, not just fading from ordinary sight.
  • Cannot be explained technically by pilots or military radar.
Then investigators start to consider that it might be something non-human, although it still cannot be concluded as "alien."

Flying light = not necessarily alien.
But if that light exhibits behavior that is impossible according to our current knowledge of technology or physics, then the possible origin becomes very interesting — including the possibility of being non-Earthly.

And on YouTube - looks like there's plenty of detail in the video and geo-temporal-location should be possible.

NGL3009 - scribbled on a post-it note again
Time 2305Z, the only flight I could find with that number was on May 11.
They are on airway L604, somewhere between MOGAP and IMRAP, heading towards the Wejh VOR.
Direction of flares – 30° then?

@Mick West - sitrec doesn't seem to like FR24 kmls (it imports them as a shape). FlightAware kmls are fine.
