Making your own path

If you have some GPS co-ords and timestamps and you want a KML that behaves like a ADSB one (and you just set a set altitude) what is the best way to get this a cameras track-able path into Sitrec, I tried AI and it works a bit but the camera doesn't follow it.

Sitrec will accept tracks in CSV format, with a variety of labeled columns. But at a minimum, lat, lon, and datetime. You just have a time there, so you might need to extend it to include the date.

See the two example files. Both can be dragged into sitrec.

You might also want to look at the in-app track editor - which I seem to have forgotten to document. Lots of new features recently.

- Pause and set the timeline to the desired length. Then position it at the first time
- Right click, create track (with or without an object, usually with)
- Move timeline, add new points

Is it just me or is KML importing broken...

I just tried a classic sitrec ADSB import and no tracks are displayed, same file works on Google Earth...
That file doesn't work for me either, but these that I found in my Downloads folder do.

The problem is that file has some empty tracks at the start.

This is a known issue in ADSBx, usually solved on that end by re-exporting with just "Uncorrected pressure altitude", and not EGM96

You can also ddeleted the empty tracks in GE (any without an arrow next to the folder) and save it again. See attached.

I will update Sitrec to ignore these empty tracks (which is what GE does)
