Some potetnialy new stuff, but it's from the Daily Mail, so get out the salt shaker. Previous DM articles about McCasland and the so-called "missing scientists" seem to be heavy on hype, while ultimately saying near the end, there may not be UFOs...

Things moving directly toward you, or directly away, can easily appear to be stationary. As long as its apparent size is not visibly increasing or decreasing you just can't tell if it is moving or not.

Perhaps the addition of a tasteful plaque, "Displayed ironically, please laugh at the stupidity or point in horror, your choice." would allow it to be rehung?

Does it disappear into the clouds or does it disappear at a point where there happens to be a cloud underneath?

I'd suggest a long recording as well, get a lot of them if you can, it will make it easier to see if it matches up or not.
