Agreed. It strikes me as someone that is in their own world, which they make cryptic and hard to understand, while being convinced everyone else is desperate to engage in it. She or her persona, complains that some guy stole her art, then goes into a long explanation about how to decipher said art work. Maybe, sorta. Seems she was too clever for her own good.
Going back to the OP, we have all these different names, with "Steven's" photos being sent to Coast to Coast by "Chad" who was really "Isaac". Then "Raj" released some photos, then "Steven" published more of his photos as "Steven" and "Ty". If they were just pranking Coast to Coast and Linda Muolton Howe, it's not like they hadn't earned a good pranking by then. It's all very convoluted.
Anyone of them, Gel included, could just name the forum they met on, and name the people involved. It may not be on the Wayback, but somebody will remember and vouch for this stuff being part of a forum before it became a UFO hoax.
Also, a bit off topic, but related: Personally I just don't get the fascination with the whole Anime thing for anyone over the age of 12. I guess I'm just a grumpy old man, but I'm shocked at the amount of vehicles I drive by with adult aged men who's cars are festooned with Anime characters or grown women wearing Anime ears on their head. Even as a pre-teen, when we watched Speed Racer or Kimba, we knew the animation was sub-par compared to something like Loony Tunes. My kids watched Pokemon when they were young, which at it's core is an Anime cartoon version of cock-fighting or dog-fighting. They also watched some Dragonbalz and some Airbender thing, they were all the typical annoying AF Anime stuff with cheaply animated googly-eyed characters that all look and sound alike. Draw one, you've drawn them all, so they get weird hair to differentiate them.
Now Spongebob was fun, if a bit annoying at times.
I guess it's no different than Disney Adults.
