Went out to look at the moon noticed this orb moving north my daughter grabbed the binos and watched while I filmed and then it just disappeared. I went through and looked zoomed in and it looks like a cross/star morphing in and out then just blinks out. I've seen a lot of them out here but this is the best footage I've got that's really a head scratcher for me.

This was posted to Reddit the orginal claimed date and time was

But the moon is visible in the video and it seems too low for this time (19:52) in OK

I queried it with the OP and they then said 19:22, I have asked for the video metadata, but 19:22 does not seem correct either

The moon is 18 pixels tall in a 1920 tall image so I make that a vfov of 53.3 degrees

1920/18 = 106.6r

Moon is 0.5 degrees approx

0.5*106.6 = 53.3 degrees

ADSB exchange shows this 737 flying directly towards the OP's location.

So OP after giving me the original file with all metadata (date/time/location) and after having given the wrong date (by 2 days) and time (2x) and the wrong location by 8 miles (and for anti doxxing purposes they were closer to another bigger town than to the one they gave)

Then tried to argue it with me after the Sirec and ADSB X screengrabs..

I can get trolling Reddit by posting a video and giving a wrong date and time so its unsolvable and I get making a mistake, but to do this just strikes me as weird.

OK, when I first sarted watching, I was waiting for a slow fade thinking it might be ISS or Tiangong and was about to fly into Earth's shadow. The sudden "blink" disappearance surprised me. I am guessing that is likely just the moment when whatever reflective surface tilted or turned enough not to be throwing light at the camera any more? Or maybe the moment the landing lights were turned off?

It's on takeoff its the landing lights going dark is my guess.
