"This picture/video was taken about 50nm north of Macon, GA on 8/8/22 at 8:16am eastern time. We were at FL430, traveling about 450kts groundspeed heading almost due south. The picture is out of the right (SIC) cockpit window of a Phenom 300."

The object not very obvious, it's a small white dot around center frame that crosses the contrail shadow.

So

UTC 12:16 08/08/2022

Flight was identified as N14AQ a Phenom 300 at 43000 feet, the video taken from right cockpit window as shown here:

Another reddit user has suggested the object is DAL2369 a Delta A319 that was to the right of the filming plane at that time and at 27000 feet, this was vehemently denied by the recorder. (edit, added link to reddit comment)

Can we show this? Can we get cloud images from satellite to fix the field of view?

@flarkey any thoughts?

@Mick West can this be moved to Skydentify? Apologies.

Does he say why he thought it 'looked perfectly stationary'? Assuming it is further away from the observer than the contrail, as it seems to be, the parallax of the object due to the motion of the observer should be less than that of the contrail, but on a casual viewing I don't see this. It looks to me to be the same as if not more than the contrail. Which would suggest that the object has a true motion of its own towards the right of the picture.

"It didn't look like it and I'm pilot." I'm not being facetious. That's the reasoning.

N14AQ was West of GA at 8:13 on 8/2/222022-08-08_14-07-40.jpg

Seems plausible, it would be about 10 miles lateral. 2022-08-08_14-15-06.jpg

This sort of case is something I'd like to add to Sitrec, just drop in two KML, and get an animation of plane B viewed from plane A

Here I've added a vertical polygon parallel to DAL2369's path, on the path. 111 feet long, same length as and A319. The size matches the UFO. So I think this is pretty much case closed.
