External Quote:There are strange lights in the sky over our land on the Ohoopee River tonight. They are above the clouds but below commercial aircraft. I could see them through the clouds on my starlight cameras also while filming tonight. They look like small pillars of light. They are not moving with the clouds or the wind. This is really strange! We have never even seen this when the UFOs are here. Not auroras!
Based on current space weather conditions for tonight, Tuesday, February 10, 2026, there is no predicted aurora visibility over Georgia. While Georgia experienced rare aurora sightings in January 2026 and throughout late 2025 due to extreme G4 geomagnetic storms, current conditions are calm:
Current Activity: The NOAA Aurora Dashboard shows a Kp-index around 1.67, far below the level needed for Georgia. Threshold for Georgia: Aurora visibility as far south as Atlanta typically requires a Kp-index of 8 or 9 (G4 or G5 "Severe" storm).
Regional Forecast: Tonight's viewline—the southernmost extent of potential visibility—is limited to northern U.S. states and Canada.
