First Case:
Time: October 3, 1998 (The third day of China's National Day holiday)
Location: Somewhere on the hillside of the cemetery behind Qiongzhu Temple, Kunming, Yunnan
Overview: A railway worker named Han Jianwei was visiting family graves when, between 11:50 AM and 12:00 PM, he spotted an unusually bright point of light in the direction of the city center.and reappeared to the right of its previous position shortly after disappearing. He later observed the light split into nine diamond-shaped UFOs clustered together. Due to promotion by civilian UFO organizations at the time, this incident became one of the most well-known UFO cases in China.

From some of the scenes shown in the video, I suspect this is once again a reflection from a towering building in a distant city.(Starting at15′33″)

There is an iconic structure here built in 1997: the Mianshan Radio Signal Tower, though I haven't found any information regarding its specific height. Perhaps this could be helpful in identifying the light spot??

Based on some of the scenes shown in the video, I have roughly reconstructed its filming locations:
25°04'38.54"N 102°37'26.73"E

I want to know what means or methods can be used to determine the precise shooting position and the actual positions of those two light points?

Another similar case:
Location: Antuco Volcano Crater, Chile
Time: 2021 (I'm not sure if the subtitle translation refers to Chile's National Independence Day?)

As for the triangle behind the video, I believe it is nothing more than the result of a lens with a three-blade aperture magnifying an out-of-focus image, similar to the first case in Yunnan

It is not difficult to find the approximate filming location through the video footage; the young people are filming toward the valley to the west with their backs to the crater

Similarly, I only found the approximate location of the light spot by comparing video frames, but there must be a significant margin of error. So, how can I determine the exact shooting location, and especially the precise position of that light spot (reflection)?

It appears the line of sight is from the cemetery to the southeast across Kunming city. Is this correct? To me, the reflected light source could be in the hills on the other side.

If this is the original camcorder, then a quick search suggested it is a Sony CCD-TRV512. These have 15x optical zoom, but also an additional 2x digital zoom for 30x max zoom.

Kunming light also briefly changed to blue.

The "splitting into 9" and color changes appears to be an artifact caused by digital zoom processing, which must surely have been quite primitive in these devices.

Perhaps someone who knows more about late 1990s camcorders could weigh in?
