Wrestler and social media megastar Logan Paul has shared a wild encounter with a UFO that has left him convinced we are not alone.

Paul shared a video with his 6.4million followers on X Thursday night, showing a mysterious bright orb hovering over Puerto Rico on December 3.
A member of Paul's business team claimed to have witnessed the unidentified object flying over a local marina on the island before shooting up into space and leaving a visible streak in the sky as it disappeared, the X post stated.

The next day, Paul said the two men walked into a local pizza shop where the owner claimed he had seen the orb as well and recorded the incident.
The social media influencer's post, which shared the video showing a small bright ball suddenly vanishing and leaving a blurry haze behind, has already been viewed more than two million times.
'He was shaken, convinced he'd witnessed some kind of hyper-advanced technology,' Paul wrote in his X post. In the clip, you can see the Orb drift across the sky, stretch into a line of light, and rotate horizontally… then vanish.' It's the latest orb-shaped UFO sighting in and around the US, adding to a list of thousands in recent years, including another alleged sighting in Puerto Rico shared on social media just days earlier.

The shop owner, his son and Paul's teammate revealed that the strange orb flew over Puerto Rico at 6.28pm local time (5.28pm ET). In the video, the shop owner can be heard talking with his young son, who thought the orb might be falling to Earth before it suddenly sped off out of sight.

'It's not a plane,' the boy said in Spanish moments before the UFO accelerated towards space. 'It's gone,' he added as he and his father lost the picture of the orb in their video. In his post, Paul described the sighting as a UAP, or unidentified anomalous phenomena, the modern term for all unexplained objects or events observed in the air, sea, or space. The celebrity and WWE pro wrestler also shared a text message exchange between himself and his teammate, Jorge, who saw the orb on Wednesday. 'I just saw the wildest thing I've ever seen. An orb above the marine in PR [Puerto Rico] that shot up in the sky and left streaks in the sky,' Jorge wrote to Paul. 'You just saw otherworldly tech,' Paul claimed.

Here's a video of the orb moving from left to right just after passing close to the moon . It then disappears.

At around 6.13pm on 3 December the ISS was visible from Puerto Rico. It would have passed close to the moon, been moving left to right to left and then would have dissapeared as it entered the earths shadow...

At around 6.13pm on 3 December the ISS was visible from Puerto Rico.

But at 6:28 is was not. From the pizza shop position it would be behind the hills at 6:16. Of course it's possible their time was wrong, but the texts and the pizza video time seem to suggest 6:28 was accurate

There would be many other satellites. But unfortunately, we don't know what direction they are looking in, and the video has no obvious visible stars. The light at the start is, I think, a streetlight, not the moon.

6.29pm was the time that the message was sent to Mr Paul, not the time of the sighting. We don't know the exact time of the sighting - to be honest, we don't even know if the light that the Pizza place owner saw is the same light that Mr Paul's acquaintance saw. But if we assume that they are, and that the video was taken before 6.29pm then it's fair to assume that it was the ISS.

6.29pm was the time that the message was sent to Mr Paul, not the time of the sighting. We don't know the exact time of the sighting - to be honest, we don't even know if the light that the Pizza place owner saw is the same light that Mr Paul's acquaintance saw. But if we assume that they are, and that the video was taken before 6.29pm then it's fair to assume that it was the ISS.

Then he shows us the video below, timestamped at 6:28pm, literally one minute before Jorge's sighting.

And while the video does look the ISS, the text description does not sound like it:

Of course, the ISS being very visible close to that time does seem like a rather unlikely coincidence. But the only way to be sure is to get the original video and check the timestamp.

I asked him to check the video time on the phone, and he said 6:28

That sounds like one of two things:

-Bright meteor that left a persistent train.
There's no match in the American Meteor Society sighting log. Not everything makes it into the log of course.



-High flying airplane with contrail, shining in the sunlight after the Sun has gone down. Plane moves into shadow of the Earth and disappears. Contrail is still visible.

Sunset was at 5:46 p.m.
Civil twilight ended at 6:10
Nautical twilight at 6:37
Astronomical twilight at 7:04

At 6:28 the Sun was 10 degrees below the horizon.

I don't know whether or not the plane and short contrail in sunlight is possible. Seems borderline. We don't know that the sighting took place at 6:28.

The thing in the pizza place video looks like an ordinary aircraft. Hard to tell because the focus ranges from poor to defocused.

Seems like the two sightings are unrelated. The Logan Compatriot describes an object moving up from the horizon and leaving "streaks." Pizza place video shows an aircraft moving away from the camera. Moving "down" due to perspective. And there are no streaks.

That's not at all what the video shows. The "blurry haze" is:
- first the glare from a nearby electric light
- finally an illuminated area on the ground

It seems to me the reporter is trying to mush the two sightings together. Mashing up the "blurry haze" in the video with the Logan Compatriot's "streaks." The unwary reader might even think the video was taken by the Logan Compatriot as the written description is unclear.

"...falling to Earth..." - We've seen this before. Witness mistakes ordinary perspective effect with "falling."

'It's not a plane." But it looks like a plane. When a UFO witness spontaneously says, "It's not 'X'," there's a 95% chance it's X.
Untold millions of witnesses have misperceived ordinary aircraft as flying saucers in the last 7 point something decades.


The sightings may be unrelated and neither object was the ISS. It seems like Logan is trying to mush the two sightings together and others are doing likewise. Typical stuff in UFO cases.
