Bigfoot Video Colorado

The couple was riding the Narrow Gauge train from Durango, Colorado, to Silverton, Colorado, when they said they spotted a biped, hairy creature moving through the mountains. A nearby passenger quickly began recording as Shannon Parker snapped some photos with her phone.

It’s story time y’all! On Sunday, October 8, 2023, Stetson Tyler and I took the Narrow Gauge train ride from Durango to Silverton. After leaving Silverton and heading back to Durango, I asked Stetson to help me look for elk in the mountains . As we are passing by the mountains, Stetson sees something moving and then says I think it’s Bigfoot. Brandon, the guy sitting next to Stetson on the train grabs his phone and starts recording. Meanwhile I am trying to get a photo on my camera. Below is the video Brandon @bt92.travels got and the photos I took. Y’all, out of the hundreds of people on the train, three or four of us actually saw, as Stetson says in the video , the ever elusive creature Bigfoot! I don’t know about y’all but We Believe!! #bigfootsighting #bigfootisreal #bigfoot

Here's an old Silverton bigfoot photo:

I've taken that ride. The Silverton-to-Durango runs on a schedule, which makes it very easy for anyone to think "I know where I can get an audience!". It could be a joker, or it could be an ad for the "Sasquatch Expedition Campers" mentioned by @sigmops. Either one is more probable than any unidentified crypto-critter.

An additional thought: There are any number of really scenic views on that ride. it seems fishy to me why the ones who filmed it (apparently True Believers) were taking videos of a rather boring patch of scrub and scree.

To summarize the various reddit threads:

The train is a sightseeing tour:

There is a local bigfoot-themed business that owns or rents a light-colored bigfoot outfit and use it for promotional purposes:

The company is being cheeky about whether it was was them:

Funny you linked to a ParaBreakdown video @tobigtofool. I am getting them same vibe as when a sightseeing boat tour in Canada teamed up with their own local bigfoot-themed business to prank the tourists with a light-colored bigfoot costume, which I heard about on Phil's channel.

Here's a stabilized version. Using the Twitter source.

Looks very much like a human.
