Brazilian photographer André Berlinck has uploaded a video on his YouTube channel showing dozens of UFOs crossing the night sky over his property in Pedra Menina, Caparaó - Espírito Santo state in Brazil, during the night of 10th January 2026 and the early hours of 11th January 2026.

The site is next to Caparaó National Park, which crosses the state of Minas Gerais (home of the Varginha incident) and Espírito Santo. Witnesses can be heard commenting (in Portuguese) on the lights in the sky, in amazement. Comments on the video list several other local witnesses who claim to have seen the same lights.

The photographer recommends that the video is seen on a very large screen, preferably on a TV. The footage was originally recorded in 4K, but the upload is in FHD (1080p) so that he can zoom in during certain parts of the video.

From the uploaded video his camera points at a mountainous peak, with sections of the video at times (e.g. 15:11) showing multiple UFOs moving in different directions in the night sky, with some appearing to "land" (as per translation of the original comment in the video from the photographer in Portuguese).

Hello, good morning. This is a response I'll give to everyone who's commenting, because I find it very annoying not to respond to comments. Yesterday I made a beautiful time-lapse and absolutely nothing appeared in the sky. To avoid further discussion, I'm a professional photographer with over 30 years of experience. I've photographed for several Brazilian magazines, I was a photographer for Fluir Magazine, etc., and I live here in Caparaó. I regularly take night photos and night time-lapses, and I've never seen ANYTHING like it. And I can recognize a satellite very well, because they pass by here all the time. I live at 1400m altitude and the sky here is very clear. Two professional pilots contacted me and BOTH confirmed that they were UFOs and not satellites. Both have 40 years of experience flying jets. One of them even said that he was flying the route from Brasília to POA that day and he saw them the whole way. From his words (which even moved me): "keep this video because it's a milestone; in my 40 years of profession, I've had two enlistments, and this was one of them." I asked to record his testimony, but he declined because he's still active. I respect everyone's opinion here. But I can't respond to everyone. My channel is weak, and I don't intend to boost it much. In the 8 years of my channel (I think), I've only earned US$100, so for me, this isn't worth it. Here in Caparaó, I have my photo gallery where I sell framed prints to tourists, and a small café that my wife and I run. A life of hard work and sacrifice. As no exact times are provided, precise geo location is needed if we are to try and use star position relative to horizon to get time, the ridge line is fairly distinctive and appears in the opening segment

It's obviously Starlink, but fiddly to pin down with the lack of the exact day and time.

Google translate (Portuguese (Brazil) to English) gives this instead...

in my 40 years of profession I've had two sightings, and this was one of them.

That makes a bit more sense and swings the bias of the pilot a bit.

"I asked a UFO believer" trumps "I asked a pilot" IMO.

Note, when pulling ST data for 2026-01-10--2026-01-11 you only get 1048 Satrlinks, you need to pull a wider/eariler date range.

I have attached "dedup.txt" which is the list of TLEs are SL with closet Epoch to the observation time for reference.

At 15:44 into the video I believe the UTC time is 2026-01-11T05:01:21 and the following Starlinks are a pretty good match for what's on the video at that time

Great work everyone, maybe sitrec needs a 'lowlight camera simulator' view, for non flaring sats, you can get there somewhat by setting

But the differential colours (red/orange) remain, and I am not sure what they indicate

Red Starlink are the Version 2 that are supposed to have visible brightness reducing measures & coatings. The effectiveness of them wasnt known at the time when they were introduced so Mick added a differentiator to show 'possibly less bright' ones.

Videos posted here don't need to be "impressive". I'm happy if they show something and are reasonably well documented.
