This has been bothering me for a while - we had no conclusive evidence that Low Voltage Overhead power lines could produce sparks, as was the theory for the lights seen in the Denbigh UFO video.
I've found a video of what appears to be LV...
Just throwing this in here, since while "there is no body of water on that Calvine hillside" (The Guardian - https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/feb/11/what-really-happened-in-calvine-the-mystery-behind-the-best-ufo-picture-ever-seen) might be...
From a scientific viewpoint, yes. I think many people here would find it more interesting if Mick and Ann both reported seeing the same remarkable thing than if some other people reported seeing the same thing. But many bright, competent...
I think it's valid to consider the claim that a poster of the Calvine "UFO" was visible for some years at Sec (AS) 2a, and that Nick Pope saw it there. We know Pope was involved in the Channel 5 program and may have given input on the object's...
That name is a blast from the past. McCandlish got some notoriety in the chemtrail community in the 2000s as an aviation expert, I posted this about him 8 years ago:
I'm not sure if he's still around, but in 2014 he was speaking at a "Secret...
that was exactly my point. Hence quoting the post I did and asking "how do you reconcile all that?"
This artists rendition has an artists impression of what the back/fore ground might have looked like. How that impression was even derived and...
Let's say Mick is on a trip and happens to be in Ann K's neck of the woods and they decide to meet up and go for a nature hike. While they are sitting up on a hill talking about UFO fans, five objects drop out of the sky at speed and stop in the...
I have no doubt at all that many UFO witnesses believe what they saw was real, and most are as bright, reliable and responsible as anyone else.
I'd guess most other people with sceptical views about UFO reports feel the same.
The question isn't...
I had not one but 3 "close encounters" with the classic "black triangle" ufos between 2007 and 2008. I don't want to go off-topic with the details of those here in this thread. I'm just trying to offer a bit of insight/speculation regarding your...
I don't think the artist rendition has proper "foreground and background" as much as it has "Scotland" or what people think the area around Calvine would look like. And it's nothing like what appears in the actual photo. No close up trees or...

Wprth pointingnoutbthat the "fins" on what is assumed to be the stern are not distinct at all in the actual photo. Four little fines like on the tail of a bomb or something... that is totally made up.
It would not surprise me if there is a know...
Hard disagree.
The most obvious feature on the recreation is the "hatch" (lower right quadrant), and it's not in the original. All of the others are pareidolia, with the exception of the underside being shadowed, and that is the default.
