To an extent, I guess. Though assuming every distant light with no details is an alien spaceship does not feel pareidolic to me, strictly speaking. A stronger case could be made that it fuels Bigfootology, Nessieology, and Ghostology.

I vote for not flipped. The object in question is light above, darker below. But Ockham and I remain in the "reflection, not faked" category. The fact that something CAN be faked simply isn't evidence that it WAS faked.

My twopenneth against reflection: 1. It doesn't look like a reflection 2. The "rock" isn't close to perfectly mirrored 3. A barb wire fence directly next to a loch (or even a pond) seems unlikely

No it doesn't. For water to be reflective (so you can't see the bottom) you need a fairly shallow angle. Overcast skies are a big help though. But I think this would require quite a long lens.
