My understanding is that Fravor was already in the air and was told to check out a currently occurring radar trace but I could be wrong, don't have time to trawl through the interviews right now!
I think it might be the "orbs" that have been seen. I prefer "spheres". Sometimes appear like balls of fire but sometimes perfectly smooth spheres, self-luminous.
