Oh, the stories I could tell, but they'd be off topic! ^_^ On topic, it would also not be all that unusual to find a fighter kite that had been cut down or lost unrelated to a festival, in areas where some folks are flying them. They aren't...

Perhaps — but yet again, it would be difficult to stage the scene, move the small jet (assuming it is a small model) while keeping everything reasonably in focus, and at the same time avoid the flying kite being completely smeared out by motion...

If it was on the program, it likely would have been. But at most festivals, you get a fair amount of members of the public flying whatever they bring. We often have problems with fighter kite fans who show up with their kites and cutting thread...

That's probably also why interdimensional psionics and non‑human biologics were introduced into our version of reality. They're raising the bar step by step.

It is not necessary for you to insert into that post language denigrating the witnesses and putting sentiments into the mouths of your "adversaries" in this debate which they have not expressed. Nobody has said people who report extraordinary...

https://imgur.com/gallery/fake-news-2jHdoAQ The photo seems to be from 2024 (or earlier) and shows a rare (critically endangered) black-chinned honeyeater, documented in the best way possible. :) The City of Onkaparinga is located on the...

It would be really interesting if someone tried to recreate the photo using this method. I completely understand why you lean toward this hypothesis, but personally I struggle to see how it could have worked in practice. Getting everything to...

It needn't even have been "pretty". If your intention is to get a photo of a reflected plane, you'd have to act fast, and that means that the photographer may not have deliberately "composed" the shot at all, just snapped the plane's reflection...

Yeah, we just don't have enough information in this case. The photo is an old, low-quality copy; we don't know who the photographer is; we have no way of knowing for sure where or when the photo was taken; and the "missing five" additional photos...

I understand, a verbal report is always subject to question: is it true, is it a misinterpretation, is it a deliberate falsification? But we were discussing the additional factors of the fallibility of memory and the tendency of humans to...

With the rise of AI this quote which is attributed to a 1979 IBM Training Manual is being widely quoted, but there seems to be some variation on just where it appeared, some sites say it was given at a management presentation. I've seen one...

Indeed, another variation on Ley Lines and Bible Code. Throw enough shit against a wall and some of it will stick.
