"Clouds and Visibility OK (CAVOK) is a term used in aviation meteorology to indicate good weather, excellent visibility, and no cloud cover affecting flight."
As an ex pilot I can testify that ground lights can be seen from a considerable distance. I could see our home base airport at night 40 miles out of it was CAVOK just beyond the mountains.
Impressive work guys.
Although I suspect that I won't have 100% closure until I see a comment from the videographer that:
"I could tell instantly that it could not be a ski resort!"
Yeah, I think this and the misapplication of probability mentioned by @Mick West seem to cover it. We're constantly told how feeble our senses are and how we only experience a tiny portion of the visible light spectrum. Yet even this seems vast...
If that seems a long shot to anybody, recall that if it had NOT been visible, there would not be a video of it not being there! The moments when something mundane looks strange generate UFO videos, the moments where they can't be seen do not...
My unease with the apparent brightness is not in regard to the absolute brightness of the ski slope. It's what's in the air and atmospheric extinction.
The ground lights are obscured by what looks like fog. Since the distant lights appear just...

I was surprised to find so many different videos are out there, sung by many, including Frank Sinatra, the Andrews sisters, and "Gonzo" from Sesame Street.

On the topic of coincidence, I wish I could recall where I read words to the effect that a pattern of frost on a window might happen to look a bit like "Jim," which will not be particularly interesting to people named Zedekiah who might not even...
Looks like CGI. Would you turn your back on such a strange being just a few metres away like the "soldier" in the clip?
The camouflage glimpsed doesn't look like standard Brazilian issue, certainly not the most common French-inspired "lizard"...
Fakest footage possible. Bad quality AI-generated imagery.
Textures are moving. The footage is not how a handheld-camera would record. It does not match what is described by the girls.
This opinion is built upon 14 years of CGI expertise, which...
There is a press conference in Washington D.C. tomorrow related to this event (or "event") with firsthand witnesses, I read. There is also video footage people are considering such as YouTube clip Is this a real nonhuman being?
