When a CTer teaches.

On the BP America site they asked folks to tell about the teacher that most influenced their lives.

This was one poster's response.

Mr C--------- by teaching me about insidious behaviours embraced by organizations with the power and resources to effect lasting and positive change, but instead resort to the psychopathic tendency to seek only monetary profit, and in tiny spurts of conscience hire vast and well outfitted disinformation campaigns.

That teacher laid the groundwork for another CTer.

Conspiracy theory (like religion) is at it's most dangerous when targetting young minds. The internet does enough damage without the assistance of irresponsible individuals peddling their own agenda in the classroom.

This is not new. . . it is just more available and easier to access. . . trash has always been available to the young person or to anyone for that matter . . . citations of sources is the major component to discernment IMO . . . if one is taught to follow the source of information, speculation, and theories one will find in many cases they lead back to the same source . . . the same people citing the same erroneous factoid which supports their pre-conceived ideas . . . it takes time and diligence but this checking process is easier today than it has ever been . . . not hours or days in the library going through card catalogs . . .

Couldn't disagree with that, but youngsters may not be as dilligent when tracing sources, and are more likely to accept anything they read. This, of course, is compounded by the fact that a search for "9/11 false flag" for example, will bring up thousands of pros and many less cons.

In general people invetigate stuff on the net because it's easy.....You have to have a very special interest in something to spend lots of time doing "legwork" research.

Either way, teachers pushing their own stance and making no attempt to give a balanced view are particularly dangerous.
