Bug Google Earth KML polygons sometimes render at the wrong altitude until terrain is refreshed

I have noticed sometimes when I re-load a sitrec link I had previously had open, which contains KML for buildings I drew in Google Earth, the buildings show up in the correct ground coordinates but are way taller than they are supposed to be.

If I click Terrain -> Refresh, it fixes it. But I'm concerned about someone opening a link and it looking wrong. Maybe it's something to do with how I am making the KML? I'm using 'altitude relative to ground' and 'extend to ground'. buildings.kmz attached.

For example I took this screenshot in the tab I had originally had open for that link:

But if I open that link in another tab, the buildings look the wrong height.

Sometimes I see multiple different versions of wrong heights. Here I opened an incognito window and the buildings are even taller

But then another tab in the same incognito window shows the shorter (but still too tall) heights:
