Yes.As an aside, would you be able to fly a strong lifting kite at the top of the line, and then fly a bell on it a bit further down? and then take some pictures that don't show the top kite (and some that do)? Ideally with an aircraft in the same shot?
Hanging stuff on the kite line is called "flying line laundry," and is common. Normally it would be windsocks or something decorative...
But it can be anything light enough to lift. As it happens, I from time to time hang a lemon juicer on my line, because reasons, If I used thinner line it would make a decent UFO, though would not fool anybody for long since it looks like, you know, a lemon juicer.
Note that in both of these pics the line is pretty stout, and very visible. For an object that was not too heavy, and thus did not NEED a kite with a lot of lift, you could fly on thinner line. (A lemon juicer obviously does not NEED a lot of lift, but it is hanging on line of a larger kite I was flying anyway, not with an eye towards hiding the line in a picture...)
