A drone in Portland Oregon on March 3 2026, but what kind?

Hi all, a new video showed up on Reddit this evening, and I have created this Sitrec. According to the poster the facts are:

• The video was taken at 6:30 PM (I live in the same city and the lighting does look correct for that time)
• The sighting was at Ventura Park (460 SE 113th Ave, Portland, OR 97216)
• The drone was flying between Stark and Burnside (north) and went from SE 113th to SE 122nd (west to east). I also see one star visible, the north star perhaps?

I checked flight tracks, but only see a helicopter to the south. Also, the video shows it stopping relatively quickly and reversing direction, which gives the impression of a smaller and closer drone. The object appears to have two lights, which are sometimes both green or both red.

The police department does fly drones, but only updates their dashboard on the 15th of each month, so patience may be required.

Looking at what drones the police I see some variety, including:

• A DJI Matrice 30
• The DJI Dock 3, paired with the Matrice 4D/4TD series

Many people own and operate drones, they are impossible to track given there is no requirement for them to transmit location data like crewed aircraft.

Certain light patterns are common to specific drone models and drones from the same manufacturer, although they may vary depending on various conditions, but the DJI drones during rotor operation (flight) generally use this:

This would seem to match the video.

What more you can get than this I don't know, unless as you allude to this is a police drone and the police later provide data on its use.
