With Gimbal, the "turns 90 degrees" refers to the angle of the "wings" relative to the ground, not (as in your example) the heading. Airplanes in holding patterns will turn 180°, but only tilt their wings around 30°. He's correct that 90° would result in loss of lift.

As of 1.5.5, there is a new option under "File" called "Update Starlink TLE for Date." This will fetch the correct TLE file for the date set in the Time menu, meaning you no longer have to manually go find the TLE file.
